Hi everyone and welcome to your meditation.
My name is Dr.
Danny Lockwood and today we are going to be doing a body scan meditation.
It's about five minutes so get comfortable and let's get started.
Sit upright with something against your back.
Breathe in and out.
Let air fill your body up.
Allow the weight and gravity of the earth to pull you down.
Allow your shoulders to get heavy.
Allow your hands to feel like they have stones in them.
Breathe in and out.
We'll start at the top of your head just above where your hair sits.
Allow golden light to come in through the top of your head and rush down through your head.
Breathe in and out.
Allow this warm breath to come through to the top of your forehead right in the center of your eyes.
Breathe in and out.
Allow this light and energy to move like a warm glow down into your mouth,
Your nose.
Breathe in and out.
Allowing now this air to move through your body into your throat in the back of your neck.
Breathe in and out.
Allowing the warm air to expand and relax all of your neck muscles.
Breathe in and out.
Breathing down into your shoulders,
The top of your shoulders.
Allow them to get heavy and move away from your ears.
Breathe in and out.
Center of your chest,
Open,
Full,
Yellow light.
Breathe in and out.
With your next inhalation,
Let the air come in and move to your back,
Center of your back.
Move all the tension out of the way.
Breathe in and out.
Allowing the warm air to move down into the top of your abdomen.
Breathe in and out.
Allow everything to relax and get heavy.
With your next inhalation,
Breathe in that fresh air into your lower abdomen,
Red light.
And out.
Down into your lower pelvis,
Orange,
Red,
Crimson light.
Feel your sits bones on whatever you're sitting on.
Breathe in and out.
Into the tops of your legs,
They're heavy,
Pulled down into the earth.
Breathe in and out.
Into your knees,
Golden green healing light.
Going into your knees.
Breathe in and out.
And into your calves,
The lower part of your legs.
Breathe in and out.
And finally,
Into your feet.
Allow the bottoms of your feet to open into the earth with three final grounding breaths.
As you breathe in,
Connecting the back of your head,
Pulling it upward towards the light.
Down your spine.
And finally,
When you breathe out,
Pushing energy into the earth to ground you,
Anchor you.
Breathe in.
And out.
Sending energy and light to the bottom of your feet.
Breathe in.
And out.
Breathe in.
And out.
Allow this energy to just move through your body.
Heaviness.
Begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Flutter your eyes open.
Stretch and move your body.
