Let's come into this meditation by thanking ourselves for taking this time to come into gratitude and to acknowledge all the greatness we have in our lives today.

If you're going through something difficult,

This is a great place to start working through the feelings and coming into balance knowing no matter what you go through,

There is so much to be grateful for.

Become present in this grounding meditation allowing the body to feel what is happening and the mind to understand letting go as you receive this balance.

Relaxing into the space you are in.

Find your most comfortable position.

Close the eyes and soften the body.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Take a slow deep breath in and as you exhale,

Relax knowing you are supported by the universe.

Another slow deep inhale through the nose and exhale as you soften where you are.

How does it feel to be completely supported?

Be grateful for this support.

The universe is working for you in every situation between the ebb and flow of the good and bad.

Invite in the love that the universe offers,

Receiving with your full heart and giving back by feeling the gratitude for all that you have.

We are going to take a hike on a trail in the Appalachian Mountains.

It's that time of year between spring and summer.

The weather is beautifully perfect just the way you like it.

This is your time to detach from your daily activities,

Responsibilities and all the influences that may have you torn in many different directions.

De-stress here knowing you can pick it all back up after you are finished with this meditation if you choose to do so.

Staying present and living in this moment acknowledging all the beauty around you.

Give yourself permission to take this journey,

Taking in what you need and leaving the rest.

Choose one person to be walking alongside you.

This person is someone special and you know they will bring love,

Support and laughter as you take this journey through gratitude,

Peace and serenity.

You tell them you choose them.

They smile receiving the invitation to walk by your side.

Imagine the two of you walking on this trail.

No one else is in sight and all you see are the trees and the colorful wildflowers in the distance.

You have a great big smile on your face as you look over at your loved one.

Seeing them fills your heart with even more gratitude.

Start to notice what is around you.

Come to identify what you see on this trail.

In all its details,

See the dirt sparkling in the sunlight as you take each step.

Invite in the sight of all the different colors around.

Examine the massive boulders while you pass through.

Spot all the different places you see the moss growing alongside the trail,

Covering the rocks and at the roots of the trees.

What sort of wildlife do you see in between the trees?

Take a moment as you walk to look and to see the marvelous miracles the universe gives us with nature.

Take in the clear,

Bright blue sky and feel the heat of the sun shining down on you through the shadows.

Smell the fresh air blowing through the thick leaves.

Be in this peacefulness of the relaxing nature.

Tap into the gratitude of allowing the body to rest.

Giving permission to the whole self to be here now.

Allowing the peace and love of mother nature to come over your being.

Being this restful hike,

Being in this moment.

This is a gift.

Be open to receiving it wholeheartedly.

As you look over,

You see a clearing.

It is an overlook where both you and your loved one want to stop and sit.

You are overlooking the natural beauty of the mountains.

For miles all you see is the forest green on the tip of the trees.

The sky as blue as it can be with only a few clouds to be seen.

You can find the most serene peace here so quiet you can hear the softest movements in the leaves.

Come to this place of stillness.

It is time to take the journey inward.

Find a look into your own life and all that you are grateful for today.

I am going to walk you through some topics or areas of life.

I will also give you examples giving meaning to these special people,

Places,

And things you hold dear to your heart.

First,

We will begin to explore the gratitude for the people in our lives.

Bring a handful of people to your mind,

Acknowledging people that mean so much to you,

And come into the awareness of why.

Why are you grateful for these beautiful people in your life today?

I am grateful for my beautiful,

Driven,

Smart best friend that holds space for me when I need her too.

She is an amazing yoga instructor,

Inspiration to others,

And knows how to take care of business.

We enjoy the same activities which makes it easier to hang out as often as life allows.

Take a few moments to picture all these people and give them meaning for being in your life.

Think of these loved ones,

Maybe friends,

Family,

And possibly people you don't even know very well,

But you feel much gratitude for them.

Give them this time and space.

Now come to the places you are grateful for.

These places could be somewhere you have been or want to go.

It can be a place that has brought joy to your life or provided a service to you or someone you love.

Create this list of places and give them meaning for being available to you.

I am in much gratitude for Heartwood Yoga Institute and Retreat Center for providing a welcoming,

Safe,

And loving place when I needed it the most.

It has been a place of joy and creativity for me going through the education that I have been open to receiving.

Think of your places that have touched your heart,

The places that changed your life,

Or places that make you happy,

And tell the universe you are grateful and why.

Be in gratitude for objects that make your life easier,

Items that make you happy,

Or things that you would not like to be without.

I am grateful for the vehicle that provides me transportation.

I see my Serenity,

The name of my Jeep,

And I can picture myself driving from one destination to another.

It brings me gratitude because I get to the places I need to be faster,

And she is designed especially for me.

Be with the objects,

Things,

And items in your life.

Find meaning and express your gratitude at this time.

Take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale as you soften.

Come into the feeling of gratitude.

Feel this gratitude as you start to think about rough patches in your life.

These hard times are here to show you,

To provide a service to you.

See the lesson,

The message,

Or the reality of where you are and what you need to take action on.

Be in gratitude for this present moment and allow yourself to accept reality and listen to the universe.

As you continue to see all the beauty in your life,

Come back to the mountains.

Come back and see the beautiful overlook where you and your loved one are sitting.

Feel the gratitude pouring out into the universe,

Sharing this to the world because you know you have so much to give and so much to receive.

Be here for as long as you need.

Take more time in these mountains or hike back out with your loved one.

Understanding the work you have just completed is being shared through the vibrations of the universe.

Know you can always come back to this meditation and come back into gratitude in any time you need a reminder.

Feel the gratitude,

The peace,

The love of the universe supporting you in all that you go through.

May your thoughts be filled with compassion.

May your words be filled with kindness.

And may your heart be filled with love.

Namaste my friend.
