Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
Make sure that you're comfortable in your bed.
That everything feels just right in your room.
The lights are just right.
You're wearing your cozy,
Comfy pajamas.
And all is well in the world.
So that you can relax your body.
And let go of your busy,
Busy day.
Tucker and Leo.
We're hanging out at Geneva Zen.
And Nevi's house.
They'd had the crazy idea.
Of filling the whole bathtub up with slime.
It was a lot of fun making slime bath-size full.
Because you can make your own slime,
You know.
It would have been crazy to actually have to buy the slime.
Those tiny little pots.
Can you imagine how much that would cost?
Or how many pots that would take.
Like,
Let's have a guess.
Hmm.
50.
What do you think?
I think a lot.
I think you might be right.
I think it's more than fifty.
I think it's a lot of pots of slime.
The kids filled the bathtub up and made their own slime.
They even added.
Coloring.
The slime was bright green.
It looked gross.
Leo was very quiet.
Took a side.
Leo?
What's going on,
Leo?
I can feel you.
Leo didn't say anything.
Tucker said.
Come on,
Leo.
What's going on?
I mean,
You look like you're having fun making the slime.
Are you ready to get in the bathtub?
Leosad.
No way.
No way.
I'm absolutely not doing it.
I think my whole body would fall off with an allergic reaction,
Not just my armpits.
Geneva said.
Your body might really like slime.
You never know,
Olio.
Leo said.
Geneva.
Since when would you think that I would be okay in a bathtub of slime?
For one,
I don't even like being bathed.
For two,
Slime looks absolutely disgusting.
It looks like a big,
Giant bathtub of snot.
Yes,
Snot.
Tucker started laughing.
Leo,
It does not!
Zen said.
It really does,
Especially now it's green.
Nevi said.
It looks disgusting.
I'm not getting in.
Geneva said.
Well,
We all need to put us bathing suits on.
Zen,
Get your bathing shorts on.
Come on,
We're doing it.
Nevi said,
I don't want to.
I'm going to stay with Leo this time.
Geneva said.
What if you just put your hands in it?
How about you just put your hands in it?
Leo,
You can just put your paws in it.
And that's it.
You gotta try it,
Guys.
You gotta try the experience.
You never know until you try something new whether you're gonna like it or not.
You can't just say no.
Navi said.
I can just say no.
Leo said.
That's right,
Nevi.
Nope.
I say no too.
Nope.
Tucker said,
Geneva's right.
She's right,
You know.
She's very,
Very right.
Geneva is very smart.
You should listen to your big sister.
She's right.
You should take advantage of all new opportunities.
You should take advantage of trying something new.
When you try something new,
You expand and you grow and you get bigger on the inside and your brain gets bigger.
And then you get so,
So big with your brain that you can't lift your head up.
Right?
Right,
Zen?
Zen said.
I don't think it works like that,
Tucker.
I don't think your brain actually grows in size the smarter you get.
Oh yes it does!
Geneva said.
I don't think it does,
Tucker.
Tucker said,
Geneva?
You know these things.
You're smart.
Zan,
You're smart.
You know these things.
Nevi,
You know,
Right?
As your brain grows,
It gets bigger like your feet,
Right?
Gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
Look at your body.
Look at your body,
Nevi.
You were a tiny baby.
Then you were bigger.
Then you were even bigger.
And now look at you.
You're walking and you're doing everything just like your big brother and your big sister.
You got so big.
And I bet you any money you're head is going to get super big,
Bigger and bigger because you have a smart big sister and a smart big brother and you can only get smart.
That's it.
That's how it works.
And I think you get to the point where your head gets so big because your brain is so full of good stuff.
That you eventually fall over.
Leo said.
Tucker,
That doesn't make any sense.
Everybody would be walking around falling over.
What about teachers and doctors and lawyers and people that have lots of brains?
What about people that have jobs like Nevi's mum?
She's a yoga teacher.
She's very smart.
What about people like Nevi's grandma?
She was a nurse.
She's very smart.
There's lots of people that are smart.
There's lots of people that are smart that don't fall over.
Because their heads don't grow when they get smarter.
Oh,
I think they do.
I think maybe their heads grow,
But you can't see it.
Zen said,
How does that work?
An invisible head?
Something like that said.
Geneva said,
Oh,
Come on.
I understand what you mean,
But let's just get on with it.
Let's swim in the slime,
Shall we?
Geneva disappeared with Zen and Nevi and they all went to put their bathing suits on.
When they came back.
Geneva said,
I'll go first.
She was being very brave.
She stepped into the green slime bathtub.
It sounded really weird.
It sounded like stepping into a big pool of mud,
Like sticky sloppy mud or a big pool of quicksand.
It was weird.
She laughed because it was cold.
She laughed because she said it felt tickly around her toes.
She laughed when she sat down.
It's really weird,
She said,
But it's fun.
Zen.
Got in next.
When he sat down,
The slime went all up his shorts and his shorts ballooned.
That was really funny.
This is so gross,
He said.
But I like it.
Tucker got in.
Tucker climbed in and started sliding all over the place and slime started flying everywhere.
Geneva got slime all over her hair.
Zen got slime almost in his eyeballs.
Everybody was laughing at Tucker because he was doing the banana splits in the bathtub.
And they near eventually settled and sat down and said,
Oh,
This is very pleasant.
I like it a lot.
Come on,
Leo,
You can do it.
Come on,
Nevi.
Leo looked at Neville and said,
Shall we just put one hand on one paw in and see?
Shall we be brave together,
Nevi?
Never he said.
Okay,
Leo,
I've got you.
Leo said.
Okay Nevi,
I've got you.
Let's do it.
Both Leo and Nevi were really brave.
It was something that they just didn't want to do.
They were going to do it because.
.
.
Tucker was right.
Sometimes,
When you have new experiences,
It helps you to grow and change.
Even though if those experiences are scary or you don't want to do them or you know you would just rather not.
Sometimes it's good to force yourself a little bit to try something new.
I don't mean doing something that you don't want to do that wouldn't be good for you.
You have to listen to yourself and listen to your body when it comes to that stuff.
Sometimes saying no is really,
Really important.
You say no and you have your boundaries and you take care of yourself.
What I mean is more like maybe trying broccoli if you've never tried broccoli.
Or maybe playing in a sandpit if you've never played in a sandpit because you don't normally like the feel of sand on your toes.
Things like that.
But when it comes to big things,
When it comes to things about you keeping your space,
Having boundaries.
Then yes,
You definitely can say no.
In the meantime,
Leo and Nevi decided to be brave.
And step out of their comfort zone.
And try something new.
Leo pulled a few faces.
Keeping everybody in suspense of what it was that he was feeling or experiencing or thinking about with the slime all over his paw.
And then he turned and looked at Nevi and said,
Nevi,
It's not that bad.
It feels kinda nice,
It's cold.
And thick.
Nevi got brave.
And put one of our hands in the bathtub.
She swished it around.
She looked at Leo and smiled and said,
You're right,
It feels really nice.
That was it.
Everybody was happy.
Tucker was wagging his tail in the slime,
Swishing it from side to side.
It's very difficult.
It's like a workout,
Trying to swim through the slime.
My tail is very,
Very difficult to move.
He kept looking back,
Trying to move his tail around.
I wonder if you can do backstroke in this.
Of course he couldn't.
There wasn't enough room to do anything like that in the bathtub with them all squashed in like that but.
.
.
Geneva tried.
Zen tried.
Tucker just fell backwards and splashed slime all up the bathroom walls.
Ashley,
The kids' mums,
Would probably not be very happy with that.
They played in the slime,
In the bathtub,
For ages.
By the time that they were done,
Nevi and Leo had got brave enough to put two paws and two hands in it.
But they didn't go all the way in.
They didn't really want to.
And that's OK.
Sometimes you have to listen to yourself,
Right?
Eventually though,
After they got rid of all the slime and they cleaned the bathtub,
So that Ashley,
Their mum,
Didn't have to do that.
Because they were responsible children.
And that was part of the deal.
If you're gonna make a mess,
Then you best tidy it up yourself,
Right?
The kids were old enough to do that.
Tucker and Leo eventually went home.
When they got home.
They had to have a bath.
Leo didn't enjoy his bath,
But Tucker did.
He was chasing the hose pipe all over the place,
Trying to swallow it and drink it and bite it.
He's a nutball.
They dried off.
And then they both got comfortable on the big dog bed.
They had a really fun time with the slime.
And Geneva and Zen and Nevi,
The bestest friends.
They were actually poop.
It had been a long day.
So it didn't take very long at all before the dogs were snoring away.
Having the bestest dreams.
The End.
