Heidi,
Cherry and Vea were having a day out.
They were walking through the woods and they noticed what looked like a cave,
A big cave surrounded by trees and leaves.
It looked very inviting.
They'd never seen this cave before on their walk.
OMG,
Look at that,
Cherry pointed at it.
It looks so interesting,
Like an adventure.
Let's get a little bit closer so we can see it closer,
Said Cherry.
The cats got closer and closer to what looked like a cave.
Vea said,
I am not sure about this.
It looks very,
Very dark.
Heidi said,
Yes,
It does.
I'm not sure either.
Cherry said,
Oh,
Come on,
OMG,
Let's have an experience.
Let's have some fun.
We can just have a look around in there and then we can come straight back out if we don't like it.
OK,
The cats agreed,
So they went inside the cave.
Meanwhile,
Tristan,
The giant,
Was walking through the forest.
He decided he was exhausted.
The big,
Giant,
Giant,
Giant Tristan laid down on the ground as if he was going to take a nap.
But then he thought,
Hmm,
Best cover myself up just in case.
So Tristan put trees and leaves all over his body.
And then he fell fast asleep.
The cats were in the cave.
OMG,
What's this stuff all over the floor?
It's really slippery.
My paws are covered in like this gooey,
Snotty,
Horrible stuff.
The cats were in too deep.
It was like they were in this cave of slime.
There was slime dripping from the top of the cave,
Rolling down the sides,
All over the base of the cave.
It was there immediately and the cat's paws were stuck in it.
I can't move!
Faye said,
Oh my goodness,
This is disgusting.
It's horrible.
Heidi said,
Just stay calm.
It might be like quicksand and if you get stuck in it and you whittle around,
You just get deeper and deeper and deeper pulled into it.
Stay calm.
Let's see if we can pull our paws out.
Let's try and like pull one paw out at a time.
The cats tried and tried.
But they couldn't pull their paws out of the snotty,
Sticky stuff inside,
All over the cave.
Tristan was woken to something tickling his nose.
He reached up with one of his big,
Giant hands and rubbed his face.
He rubbed it again.
He itched and he twitched his nose.
What is going on?
Feels like something's up my nose.
Kept doing these funny faces.
What on earth is this?
And then Tristan threw his head back and started to act like he was going to sneeze.
The cats started screaming,
Oh Web G,
Oh Web G,
What's happening,
What's happening?
Oh my gosh.
All of a sudden,
The cave that they were in was like moving and shaking all over the place.
And they heard this really deep like,
What's going on with my nose?
Something like that.
And then,
And then they just like flew all the way back towards the end of the cave.
All of their paws popping out of the snot at once.
Flying backwards.
And then they were projectiled completely out of the cave.
Full speed covered in this snotty,
Slimy material from head to toe.
Tristan the giant sneezed the biggest sneeze he'd ever,
Ever sneezed.
And then he whittled his nose.
And then he said,
Oh,
That's much better.
And he laid his head back down,
Covered his head back up with the leaves and the trees and everything else he could find,
Closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
Heidi,
Cherry and Veya,
All covered in slime and sticky stuff,
Were stuck to a tree at least 30 feet away from the cave.
They slid down the tree.
Oh,
This is horrible,
Said Cherry,
Absolutely disgusted.
Veya started laughing.
She was like,
Oh my gosh,
What on earth just happened?
That was quite a ride.
Heidi said,
Thank goodness we're not hurt.
What is this stuff all over us?
It was gross.
It was clear,
But snotty and sticky and just gross.
Once they'd slid down the tree that they'd been projectilely sneezed out of the giant's nose by,
They all landed,
Shaking off the snot.
Cherry said,
Oh,
Gee,
I don't understand it.
There's that thing,
There it is,
There's that cave again.
Look,
I can see it again.
Heidi said,
I'm not going near that cave again.
It's dangerous.
Veya said,
I am just a little bit intrigued.
I really would like to know what this is all about.
Cherry said,
Me too,
Me too.
The three cats walked over to the cave.
This time,
Some of the leaves had fell off part of Tristan the giant's face.
Cherry said,
Do I see lips or am I imagining it?
Cherry walked over to the cave and started to pull off the big leaves all around the cave until Tristan's snoring,
Sleeping face was exposed.
And every time he snored,
A little snot bubble came out of his nose.
Said Cherry,
We went into a nostril.
I'm going to be sick.
This stuff all over us is snot.
It's snot.
Cherry was moaning and screaming about it so loud.
Tristan woke up.
He blinked,
All like it was if you were ever.
What's happening?
He opened his eyes and he focused on three little cats right there in front of his face.
A ginger one,
A white one and what looked like a gray one,
But it was hard to see because they were covered in all this slimy stuff.
They looked horrendous.
Tristan said,
Hello.
Cherry said,
You just sneezed us out of your nose.
Tristan rubbed his nose on instinct.
You guys were up my nose.
Yeah,
We must have been.
We thought it were a cave.
How dare you come into a forest and lay yourself down and get comfy like that and trick people to going up your nose as if you're some like nice cave with crystals in or something.
Yeah,
You got crystals in your nose,
All right.
Your nose is full of snot and boogers and not crystals.
Tristan smiled.
He thought it was very funny.
This little tiny ginger cat shouting at him.
Don't you laugh at me.
The cat said with her paws on her hips.
It's not very nice of you,
You know,
To cover me in snot.
Tristan had the biggest belly laugh ever.
His laugh kind of sounded like thunder moving through the forest.
Cherry smiled at him.
Well,
I know I'm funny and all,
But you don't need to laugh that much.
With her hands on her hips.
You are funny,
He said.
You're the funniest thing I've seen all day.
You mean I'm funny because I'm funny or funny because I'm covered in your snot?
Said Cherry.
Once again,
Tristan laughed the biggest belly laugh.
This cat was hilarious.
Tristan sat up and the earth rumbled beneath him.
And now he seemed way too far away from the cats.
So he reached a nun down and he said,
Is it OK if I pick you up?
I won't squish you,
I promise.
I like cats.
The cats looked at each other and nodded.
OK.
So Tristan picked them up and brought them up to eye level.
My name's Tristan.
What's your names?
Cherry said,
Well,
I'm Cherry.
This is my sister,
Veya.
She pointed to the snotty white cat.
And then she pointed to the grey cat and said,
This is this is my sister,
Heidi.
Heidi's our big sister.
And Heidi's not very happy with you because she can't find her glasses.
Heidi had mentioned that she couldn't find the glasses.
Tristan started moving his nostrils around.
And then he stuck one of his big fingers up his nose and picked it.
The cats were like this on his hand.
That's so gross.
And when he pulled it out,
There was a long,
Stringy bogey on his finger with a pair of glasses on the end.
Are these your glasses?
He said.
Said Heidi.
She didn't say anything.
She just looked at him absolutely horrified.
She reached her paw up and pulled and twanged on the glasses that didn't want to let go at first.
They were so snotty.
But then she got her glasses and put them back on and looked up at him as if to say,
Wow,
You're big.
You're very big,
Said Heidi.
Tristan said,
Thank you.
Now I have to go back to where I belong and you guys have to go have a shower.
Thank you so much for being up my nose.
It was very,
Very itchy.
Cherry said,
Are you joking?
Are you joking?
Tristan,
The giant said,
No.
And he placed the cats back down on the ground.
And he said,
Bye now.

And he stood up and he walked away from the cats.
Cherry,
Heidi and Vea all stood looking at each other as if to say,
Oh,
Gosh,
What do we do with all this snot?
They were wiping it down their bodies.
I don't know about you,
But I think he's right.
We definitely need a shower.
The cats walked home very sticky and gross and twangy.
They twanged on the pavement with their paws and then they got in the house and they all showered and they helped each other get all the snot off the backs and in their ears and everywhere that it was touching.
When they were all dry and clean,
They brushed their teeth and they hopped into bed together.
Cherry said,
Well,
I were right.
It was definitely an adventure.
Heidi and Vea cracked out laughing.
And then all three of them fell fast to sleep.
