Are you ready?
To meditate with Kari.
Lay yourself down.
In your big comfortable bed.
So that you can relax your body.
And let go of your day.
And Malika.
Elin,
Lita,
And Charlotte.
We're all having.
A sleepover at the cat's house.
They'd been playing in the pool outside for like five hours.
And you know what it's like sometimes when you play in the pool or you go swimming.
You get super,
Super hungry.
So they had the bestest time.
Baking cookies in the kitchen.
Eating the cookies,
Watching the movie.
And now they were all upstairs.
Hanging out.
Taking showers before they went to bed.
The bathroom got pretty messy.
There was towels all over the floor.
Toothpaste all over the sink.
The toilet roll somehow had rolled onto the floor.
So it had completely rolled off the roll.
And there was a big,
Giant pile of toilet roll on the floor.
The cats and the girls all went into their room.
Jumped upon the big bed and they were telling each other stories.
Cherry said.
You know,
This one time,
We were all around a campfire,
Right?
We were all sitting around this big giant campfire,
And we were talking about,
Like,
Ghost stories.
And there was this one girl,
And she was telling us about this story about a mummy.
A mummy,
Right?
And I said,
What's a mummy?
And the girl said,
You don't know what a mummy is.
And I said,
No,
What's a mummy?
Are you talking about someone that has babies?
And the girl started laughing.
And everyone around the campfire started laughing and I said,
What's so funny?
And the girl said,
No,
Not them kind of mummies,
Mummies,
Like,
You know,
The ones wrapped in bandages that like people,
People like,
You know,
Wrap them in bandages.
And I was like,
Why do they wrap them in bandages?
And the girl was like,
I don't know.
I don't really know why.
I think you would have to like take more notice in your history class or something,
Because I think they just used to do it all the time.
All the time in like Egypt and stuff.
Heidi interrupted and said,
Yes,
What they did was anyone that mattered,
Like the kings or the queens or anything like that.
They would wrap them,
And they mummified them,
And it preserved their bodies.
And then they would put them in tombs,
And then they would bury them in the tombs.
And because they were mummified,
They thought that they would live forever.
Cherry said.
That's what a mummy is!
You around like,
Ooh,
Because I'm sure that's what the noise is that they make.
Right.
Lita said.
Oh,
I really like mummies.
I think they're great.
Cherry said,
Are you okay in the noggin or something?
Who would like a mummy?
I mean,
It's like saying,
Oh,
I really like,
Like zombies.
I think they're great.
Charlotte started laughing and saying,
Can you imagine if you met a zombie on the street and it was really friendly?
Cherry said,
No,
I can't.
Cause since when,
Since when have you ever heard of a zombie being friendly?
I thought zombies were just like them horrible people that walk around really slowly with like half of the body parts falling off.
And then they're like,
I'm coming to get you.
And you're like,
Oh gosh,
This is awful.
And then it makes me think of that,
That SpongeBob episode that we watched that time.
That was so funny where they were under the like it was a sea bear or something and they were under the ocean and there was a sea bear but sea bears don't get you unless you're in a circle and Squidward weren't listening and he was like that's a load of rubbish and Spongebob was like no it's not come on Patrick get inside this circle and the sea bear came and it didn't get Spongebob and Patrick it only got Squidward Because Squidward weren't in the circle because he didn't believe that the circle could protect you from a sea bear.
Silly Squidward.
And I'm like,
I would draw myself a circle and stand inside it so that zombies can't get me.
Feyer said.
Hmm.
Does it work on zombies?
And mummies?
Or is it just sea bears?
Cherry said.
Oh,
Good point.
I don't know.
Oh no,
What we gonna do?
I'm a bit scared now talking about this subject.
And Malaiki said that she needed to go to the bathroom.
She went to the bathroom and noticed the giant spider.
Pile of toilet roll which to her walking in on it round the corner quite quickly just looked like a mummy.
She jumped,
Screamed and ran back to the bedroom and announced to everyone that there was a mummy in the toilet.
Actually in the toilet,
Said Cherry.
No,
Said Anwaleike,
No,
No,
It's like by the toilet roll.
OMG!
OMG!
Heidi,
What are we gonna do?
Oh no,
I don't like this,
I'm scared!
I'm scared!
Heidi said,
Just calm down everyone.
I'm sure there's not a mummy in our bathroom.
I mean,
Why would a mummy be in our bathroom?
Normally you only find mummies in Egypt.
Heidi said,
I'll go check it out.
Heidi walked around the corner and didn't realize that the toilet roll had fell off the actual roll into a big giant pile because it was a brand new toilet roll.
It was full.
And because it was full,
It fell on the floor and it got really tall,
Like bigger than the toilet,
Tall.
And she didn't know that that's what had happened.
So when she walked around the corner,
Just out quickly out of the corner of her eye,
She saw this big pile of toilet roll that to her also looked like a mummy.
Heidi scratched and clawed her way back very fast to the bedroom and said,
She was right.
It was,
It was,
It was a mummy.
Cherry said,
OMG,
What we gonna do?
Should we call 99999 or 91111?
What number is it now?
Heidi said,
It depends what country you're in.
Cherry said,
Oh my goodness,
Should we call the police?
If we call the police,
Will they shout at us for calling the police and saying,
Excuse me,
I think there's a mummy in our toilet?
And then they'd say,
In the toilet?
And I'd say,
No,
Not in the toilet,
Like in the bathroom.
And then they'd go,
Are you guys okay?
Have you been drinking too much lemonade or something?
And I'd be like,
No,
Mr.
Policeman,
No,
I'm being so serious.
I'm serious right now.
There's a mummy in our bathroom.
Not in the toilet,
The actual toilet,
But in our bathroom.
Charlotte said.
Maybe we shouldn't call the police.
Maybe we should all,
Like,
Grab something that we can defend ourselves with and all just go find out what's going on in the toilet.
Maybe it's a nice mummy and it's not a mean mummy,
Leta said.
Yeah,
I bet it's a nice mummy.
I really like mummies,
Cherry said.
Oh,
Leta,
Will you stop it with your liking things and being so friendly?
Don't be liking mummies because what they do,
You know,
When a mummy grabs a hold of you,
It mummifies you.
And then you're just like a cocoon in inside of a load of like blankets and bandages and toilet roll and then you can't move you're cocooned like when one of those butterflies are like in a what are they Heidi said.
You mean a caterpillar?
It gets us and it wraps us,
It grabs us,
Wraps us up in all of its bandages and then we're cocooned and then,
Yeah,
Nothing else happens.
We just stay cocooned forever.
And I'm inside this cocoon going,
Hey,
Hey,
Mummy,
Let me out.
I'm so hungry.
I didn't get to eat all my cookies.
And the mummy says,
Hmm,
Hmm,
Hmm,
Hmm,
Because it can't talk because its mouth's all covered up.
But what it's really saying is tough luck.
And now you can rule the world with me and you can just walk the earth as a mummy and you will always be a mummy and you're never gonna be a butterfly because you're a cat and cats don't turn into butterflies you silly cat turn into something else like panda bears or something and then the mummy would be like what and I'd be like I'm so scared.
I'm just delirious now guys.
I'm just delirious.
Idy said,
Calm down Cherry,
Calm down.
I'm going to go back.
But this time I'm going to go back and I'm going to take that baseball bat with me over there in the corner.
Cherry said,
You're so brave,
You're so brave.
And Heidi said,
Well,
A little bit brave.
I'm going to go in there and all of you guys are going to come behind me.
Lita,
You're definitely going to be almost at the front,
Because if this is a nice mummy,
Then at least you can be friends with it.
And then if it's not a nice mummy,
Maybe you can try and make friends with it,
Because you,
Out of all of us,
Seem to be OK with the fact that this is all about a mummy.
Later got to the front of the crowd and they all like scurried together like a big giant clan of scared little cats and little girls scurrying down the hallway towards the bathroom.
They were just outside of the bathroom.
Heidi turned around and said,
Are you ready?
She got a baseball bat in her front paws.
Some of the kids were holding big giant pillows.
What they were gonna do with that,
I don't know.
Maybe just like pillow fight with the mummy.
Vea had got one of her princess shoes in her hands.
It was quite pointy.
She thought it might be a very good,
Very good defense mechanism.
Right.
On a count of three,
We're going to kick open the bathroom door and we're going to jump inside and we're all going to say,
Like something like that,
Really loud.
2 Three,
They all jumped inside the bathroom at once.
It was quite a squeeze.
And then they shouted.
As mean and scary as they possibly could.
The pile of toilet roll didn't move or anything.
And then Cherry looked at it and then she run at it and got really brave and just dived on the toilet roll.
Just dived in it,
This big pile of toilet roll.
Just dived on it as if she was attacking the mummy.
I'm coming for you.
I'm coming for you,
Said Cherry.
The toilet roll just squished down to a flat pile of paper on the floor.
Cherry rolled over.
With paws full of toilet roll.
And started laughing.
I love you I can't believe it!
OMG!
OMG!
Thank gosh!
Thank gosh this wasn't a mummy!
Oh my goodness I was so scared!
I peed myself twice outside of that bathroom!
I peed myself twice!
I almost pooped!
I was so scared!
Oh my gosh!
Oh my gosh!
I'm so happy that this toilet roll is just toilet roll!
Leeta said,
This is like the friendliest mummy I've ever met.
They all just cracked up laughing.
It was very,
Very funny.
I think they were all laughing so much because they were so relieved.
Heidi especially was relieved.
I don't know what I was going to do with this baseball bat,
She said.
Cherry said,
Probably just like shake it at him or something and try and scare him.
You've not got a mean bone in your body,
Have you?
Faye said,
Me doesn't know what I was gonna do with this shoe.
The girl said,
I think our pullers would have been quite good.
Then they just laughed again.
And I can't.
And again.
Eventually,
They made their way back to the bedroom,
Climbed up onto the bed,
I'll lay down and calm down.
They got all the wiggles out and all the giggles out.
They all talk to each other for a little bit.
And then it was time.
To go to sleep.
Snuggled up together.
No big.
Comfortable bed.
They all had some funny dreams about mummies.
And zombies.
It was a great night.
In the end.
The end.
