Penny and I are delighted to share our work with you.

We're going to start with a very brief bit of context and then we'll guide you through the Connect practice.

There may be times during the day when negative or repetitive thoughts in your head bring up stress,

Leaving you feeling exhausted,

As if you're on autopilot and not in control of your own life.

You feel overwhelmed,

Not coping or really enjoying life.

Perhaps you're disconnected and your relationships are suffering.

Maybe you're feeling stuck and unable to deal with the challenges that life is throwing at you.

Maybe you'd like to wake up looking forward to the day ahead,

Feeling positive,

Really good about yourself,

Happy and with a deep sense of wellbeing.

Your life is flowing naturally and you're energised by the joy of being alive.

You see a world full of possibilities.

As living from your true power,

You're able to create the life you desire and your very presence makes a difference to the lives of those around you.

So how do you get from that place of stress,

Overwhelm and being on autopilot to a place of inner peace and consciously creating the life you desire?

Back in 2004,

Sue and I were really sick of feeling stuck and unhappy and asked ourselves that very question,

Realising we needed a new way to approach life.

We travelled the world,

Tried every method we could find,

Eventually distilling the best to create the Connect practice,

Which is what we're going to share with you now.

This powerful,

Proven practice gives you the easiest access to a state of full connection.

Your body chemistry becomes optimal,

Giving you a sense of health and wellbeing.

You are calm and centred,

Yet feel vibrantly alive and connected to your true power.

This is your natural way of being that is there in the background all the time.

So whether like us you've tried many techniques or are just getting started,

The Connect practice will shortcut and accelerate your journey.

Integrating this simple routine into your life will help you deal with the challenges life throws at you.

It gives you the secret to living in your full power every day,

Transforming your life.

So let's go for it!

Find a place where you'll not be disturbed.

Create a safe space for yourself,

Where you're noticing,

Not judging.

There's no right or wrong experience.

Whatever you feel is just right for you.

Be open-minded and playful and willing to experiment.

There may be some words that we use that you haven't heard before.

Just trust the process,

Trust yourself and trust us.

Do this practice in a way that works for you.

If you can,

It is best to start doing it standing up.

But if you're uncomfortable with that,

Please feel free to sit down.

So,

Just close your eyes now.

Feel your feet firmly rooted on the ground.

And we're going to set an intention for what you'd like to get out of this practice to full connection.

So set your intention now to experience a state of full connection.

And imagine that possibility for yourself right here,

Right now.

And say yes to it.

So take your attention to your spine now.

And really lengthen your spine and open your chest.

Feeling a posture of uprightness and openness.

Feeling supported with a sense of integrity and alignment.

Relax your jaw and your shoulders and let gravity have them.

Soften your heart and relax your pelvic floor.

Start to allow yourself to become aware of what's going on for you right now in this moment.

Take a moment to observe what's going on in your thoughts,

Your feelings.

And notice any sensations in your body.

All with a sense of acceptance.

Extending beyond your physical body is your energy body.

It's like a sphere of energy that surrounds you.

You're now going to feel for balance within your energy body.

I allow myself to wonder what it would be like if my energy was equal and even at the back and the front of my body.

If it helps you can imagine your energy field as a colour or texture.

And what if the energy to the right and left of me were equal and even?

Just feel for that balance.

And if the energy above and below me were equal and even?

Again,

Take a moment to feel for that balance.

And now just allow yourself to rest in the safety of your energy field and trust it to support you.

Now take your awareness to your breath and just notice where it is in your body.

We're going to start by taking some big breaths in through the nose and sighing out through the mouth.

And as you sigh out,

I'd like you to let go of anything that you don't need.

Anything that's stopping you from being present right here and right now.

So let's take some of these deep cleansing breaths,

Breathing in through the nose and sighing and letting go through the mouth.

As you sigh out,

Just keep letting go,

Coming back to who you really are.

Okay,

Now we're going to do a deep,

Deep breath right down into our belly.

We're going to count in for six,

Pause until our body naturally wants to breathe out and then exhale for a count of six.

So I'll count the first round and then we'll do two more rounds in your own time.

So in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six and pause.

Out for two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

So continue in your own time and as you breathe in,

Allow your belly to expand.

Now as you breathe out,

Make sure you exhale all of the breath.

The belly is the seat of your presence,

Your knowing and your deep confidence.

And as you breathe in,

You're breathing your energy down from your head into your heart and gut brain,

Connecting all of yourself up.

You're allowing yourself to be breathed.

Just feel yourself calming down and a sense of stillness.

As you enjoy this state of mindful connection,

Just notice how you feel.

Notice how beautiful in a smile and notice how present you are now.

Now we'd like you to bring your attention to the centre point of your chest.

I'd like you to start to imagine a line going up from that centre point of your chest.

It may be a golden thread or however you'd like to visualise that.

Just imagine that line going up through your throat,

Behind your eyes and up to the crown of your head.

Now allow that line to go out through the crown of your head and imagine extending right up through the room that you're in and up through the building that you're in.

And then way up through the sky.

Let that line continue going up,

Up,

Up.

So eventually it gets to the atmosphere of the earth and then allow it to go all the way up right to the centre of the sun.

And just get a feel for that beautiful,

Warm,

Light energy of the sun.

And enjoy that for a moment.

Then we're going to start to move back down that line.

So take your attention all the way back down that line through the atmosphere of the earth,

Through the sky,

All the way down into the building that you're in and back to the crown of your head.

Slowly allowing that line to come back down behind your eyes,

Through your throat,

Back through your heart,

Down now through your solar plexus,

Your belly,

Down into your pelvis,

Through your coccyx.

Keep following the line all the way down your legs and through your feet into the earth.

And really allow it to travel down to the centre of the earth,

To that deep,

Hot,

Red,

Molten core.

This is where source energy exists.

Feeling yourself grounded into the earth and your feet firmly rooted.

And then when you're ready,

Start to move your attention slowly back up that line,

Back up through the earth and into your body,

Through your feet,

Up your legs,

To your belly,

Right the way up to your chest.

And allow yourself to rest your attention in your centre,

Keeping that line in place all the way through the core of the earth up to the sun.

And feel fully grounded,

Centred and aligned.

Now we're going to come back to our heart centre in our chest.

And I want you to start to imagine a ball of energy in your chest.

So start to imagine that.

It may have colour,

It may have texture,

Shape,

It may have movement.

Just allow yourself to sense that.

Really get a sense of your heart starting to open as this ball of energy begins to expand so that it starts to fill your whole chest area.

So allow this ball of energy to get even bigger.

So actually it's starting to fill up your whole body.

And it's getting larger and larger.

And we're going to allow it now to expand outwards beyond your body and start to merge with the energy that's outside of your body all around you.

So we feel our feet anchored to the ground,

But this ball of energy that you are keeps getting bigger.

It spells out at a rapid rate filling the room.

And then it fills the building that you're in.

And we're allowing it to get bigger and really vast.

And it's going way out there.

So it's even bigger than the earth.

It's travelling at a rapid rate now past the planets.

And eventually it's this huge energy and it encompasses the whole universe and cosmos.

Expanding way out until you connect to the vibrant light energy.

Connecting to the oneness and source energy that holds everything together.

Allow yourself to experience this larger dimension.

When you go out to that space,

You can keep connecting and connecting and connecting.

You don't have an edge or an end to you.

You can keep going and going.

This is because you are an infinite being in this body who can perceive and know anything.

And in this space is where you can reprogram anything.

So as you're centred and anchored by your presence right here in this moment,

You're also connected to that massive outer world of vibrant interconnected energy.

So now just notice and observe how this feels,

How big your expanded energy field is.

Feel a sense of peacefulness resonate in your body.

And when you're ready,

Just gently open your eyes.

And just start to feel your presence and energy expanded into the space around you.

Now just take a few small steps around the room in this expanded state.

And notice how your energy affects the space and the room that you're in.

And also the world around you.

Walking vibrantly in the world as you feel connected to all things,

You send the message that we're all in this together.

Living from this deeper place than your stream of thinking,

Connected to the delight that all of nature has,

Realising that we're not just a body,

But also a field of energy that has a direct effect on the world around us.

Our own life force in flow of the bigger transformative energy field.

So just notice how you feel now.

And you may want to make a note in your journal of your experience.

By practising this simple technique that anyone can learn for just a few minutes a day,

You get access to being the truly powerful,

Authentic and joyful human being you were designed to be,

Free to live the life that you choose.

You enter the next stage of human evolution,

Contributing to a worldwide shift in consciousness that we believed is urgently needed.
