Peace In Times Of Uncertainty

My heart sinks as I wake up and see this morning's news. My chest tightens and I feel fear warm in my stomach as I think about our future. Where are we headed? What has happened to my dreams and goals? my future feels uncertain. The stock market crashing, global warming and a major pandemic spreading around the globe. May this practice help guide you to a place of peace. A solid rock in the midst of a great storm.

What a refreshing and comforting piece this was. I enjoyed the use of "I statements" as I haven't experienced many meditations of this style in my regular practice. Your use of imagery was both soothing and empowering; something I didn't know that I needed until I heard it. Thank you. On a side note, I wanted to ask if you happen to be related to a guitar player with the same last name? Light love and equanimity to you... and also patience & boundless creativity in this unprecedented time we find ourselves in.
