Welcome to a collective lotus meditation session.
Today we will be doing a five minute breathing exercise to reconnect with ourselves.
So beginning to get comfortable in your seat or laying down.
Noticing if you can make yourself just a little bit more comfortable.
Making some final adjustments.
When you're ready,
Setting an intention to harness in with yourself.
And slowly beginning to close your eyes.
And bringing your awareness to your breath.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
With each inhale,
Allowing expansion.
And on each exhale,
Releasing that which no longer serves you.
Imagining the air you're inhaling flowing all the way down to your feet.
And then coming back up out through your nose.
And on the next inhale,
Allowing that breath to fill the legs.
And then exhaling.
Bringing the breath to the hips and the lower back.
Allowing it to move up the spine.
Bringing your breath awareness into your shoulders.
Moving into your arms and your hands.
Into your neck and your jaw.
Bringing your breathing awareness into your face,
Your eyebrows.
And finally to the top of your head.
Allowing your breath to connect you with the sensations of yourself.
Into the feelings of this moment.
Of each breath.
And slowly taking a big inhale.
And a releasing exhale.
And one more time,
A big inhale.
And a giant exhale.
Allowing yourself to come back into your body.
Maybe moving it slightly,
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
And slowly when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Setting your intention to bring this breathing awareness into the world.
Aho.
