Welcome.

I invite you to take a deep breath and find yourself here.

We are here for a quick three-minute relaxation to shake out whatever is in the body and give ourselves a chance to reset.

So from here,

I invite you to begin by shaking your head and moving it side to side,

Shaking your shoulders,

Your neck,

Shaking your arms,

One arm,

Shaking the other arm,

Shaking out the hands,

Keeping a bounce moving your body,

Shaking out those hips,

Moving them around,

Shake,

Shaking,

Shake,

Shaking out one leg,

Shaking out the other leg.

Give yourself a moment to shake all of your body,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Bounce,

Shake,

Move,

Do what feels good,

Do it,

Do it,

Do it,

And then pause.

Take a deep breath.

I invite you to put your hands over your heart and inhale in,

Exhale,

Tap your heart.

Inhale in,

Exhale,

Tap your heart.

One more like that.

Inhale in,

Exhale,

And tap.

Good.

From here,

I invite you to do a couple of body squeezes.

We'll inhale,

Inhale,

And then we're going to inhale and squeeze our whole body,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze your face,

Your hands,

Your hips,

Your toes,

And let it out.

Invite you to use a sound or a sigh.

Inhale in,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Tighten up all those muscles and drop it out.

Good.

One more like that.

Inhale in,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Tight,

Tight,

Tight,

And let it go.

Allow your breath to return to normal.

If you'd like to include those taps on your exhale,

If you feel like you need more,

Go ahead and touch the boundaries of your body with your hands or other parts,

Just noticing that you're here,

Maybe giving light squeezes.

Noticing what has shifted for you.

If you notice you still feel like you're tight or with lots of energy,

I invite you to repeat this meditation,

To move what's out,

And if you're feeling like you need more grounding,

I invite you to listen to one of the other meditations I have,

To body scan and find just a little bit more relaxation here.

But for now,

Great job showing up for you.

You got this,

One step at a time.
