To breathe in new energy and open your day with clarity and light.
Find a comfortable seated position.
Rest your hands on your thighs or heart.
Lengthen your spine and softly close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through the mouth.
Again inhale deeply.
Feel the breath expand through your chest.
Exhale.
Let go of sleep,
Heaviness or yesterday's thoughts.
Feel your feet grounding into the earth,
Your breath,
Your anchor.
Now begin box breathing.
Inhale for four,
Hold for four,
Exhale for four and hold for four.
We'll do this together.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now continue on your own rhythm.
Each inhale,
Draw in brightness,
Focus and strength.
Each exhale,
Release fatigue and fogginess.
If you wish,
Visualize golden light filling your body with every breath.
Now gently transition to a longer inhale,
Shorter exhale to awaken energy.
Inhale through your nose for five counts.
Exhale through your mouth for three counts.
Do this a few rounds.
Feeling your energy rise,
Your spine lifting taller,
Your heart open.
Return to your natural breath.
Notice how alive your body feels,
Your mind clearer,
Lighter.
Whisper to yourself,
I am ready.
I am grounded.
I welcome this new day with energy and joy.
Take one more deep,
Nourishing breath in and exhale with a smile.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and move into your day with presence.
