Preventative medicine is about so much more than just eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise and if you are into human design then you might be interested in hearing about preventative medicine by design and that's what I'm going to talk about today and human design shows us that preventative medicine obviously we need to think about the foods and the exercise but we also need to think about your emotions your authenticity level and particular placements in your chart that help to keep you strong healthy and happy because you could be eating all the good food in the world but you could be going out there and lying to other people regularly or lying to yourself and not living a life that feels authentic and aligned and if that's what someone is doing it doesn't matter how much good food they eat or how much they go to the gym they are not going to be a healthy person on the inside even if it looks like they may have strong muscles on the outside. Now I understand this process very well because I have lived, Walked, Experienced what preventative medicine looks like not just from the perspective of mainstream society perspectives where you eat really well and you do all the exercise you do all the things that feel right. I did that and as a naturopath I also layered in the herbs and nutrients that I felt were good for me and that I needed but I'm one of those people I'm one of those sensitive people who doing those types of things is great they're useful but they're usually not enough. You may be one of those people and you may find that you can eat all the right foods do all the right exercises and take all the best supplements but still feel like you're coming up short in your health. If you are one of those people you are probably very sensitive to energetics like me it is not a weakness it is the superpower but we've just got to understand how to work with it and harness it. Of course there are times when we take all the preventative measures that we possibly can including being so authentic and so aligned with our true self in all the aspects that I've spoken about and then some but then we have some tricky transits come in like maybe Pluto comes in and squares Saturn for example and maybe it's hitting a certain placement in your chart then it might just be like and hey if you are sensitive you might have symptoms come up but if you understand your preventative medicine formula there are times when you can look for these transits and understand oh okay I'm doing all the right things to help keep me healthy but there's a transit coming in now that's probably a little bit beyond my control now but I'm just going to keep doing my thing and knowing that when the energy moves on I'm going to have that stronger sense of self coming because I've endured that I've endured it with awareness and consciousness and authenticity and I am now stronger now for that experience. So let's take a really brief journey into preventative medicine by design obviously using a human design for health perspective and the first thing that I want to look at is or talk about is the energy types because your energy type aligning with your energy type is your core healing strategy and your core preventative medicine strategy as well. What do I mean by that? Well specifically if you want to break it down into really simple terms we want to think about the emotions that fuel or devitalize each energy type the most and let's go through those very briefly. So let's start with generators. Generators your core preventative medicine involves satisfaction anytime you do anything that feels so satisfying or you're out in the world and you're like oh that feels like something that gives me so much satisfaction I'm so satisfied with my day right now that is healing medicine for you that is preventative medicine. The more satisfaction that you have in your world the more your cells can feel healthy happy and thrive. Conversely the more frustration you have in your that is the opposite of preventative medicine that is contributing to cellular dysfunction which leads to symptoms which eventually can lead to disease and complex issues and confusing symptoms that you're like oh what is this that I'm dealing with okay. Now manifesting generators what I just said relates to you as well please bring in more satisfaction into your life in order to embody your core level of preventative medicine and be sure to avoid situations as much as possible not avoid but make decisions that keep you away from frustration because that will keep you most healthy now and in the long term. Projectors I want you to know that your preventative medicine at its core involves celebrating yourself feeling acknowledged from others as well the more you feel like you're seen by other people recognizing your wisdom or the more you see yourself and go damn that was a very wise thing that I recognized. Pat yourself on the back the more you embody those feelings hey preventative medicine bathing all your cells. Conversely it's the bitterness the bitterness contributes to the cellular dysfunction in your energy type so if you find bitterness coming in you want to find a way to self-celebrate maybe write down five things in a journal. I remember when I recognized this piece of wisdom in this self in this person. I recall when I knew this insight for this other person I helped them and they were like wow that's amazing. Self-celebrate yourself hey throw yourself a little party in honor of yourself because that is healing medicine and preventative medicine for you. Hello dear manifestors we love you as well what is preventative medicine for you well in human design manifestors need to feel at peace the more peaceful you feel the more love light health well-being flows through all of your cells but if you start to feel too much anger too much angry feelings too many angry feelings the cellular dysfunction is setting in for you and it is preventing you from connecting with that feeling that makes you feel so healthy in the moment and it's making it harder for you to reach it in the long term so reaching for more peace ideally by making sure that you have plenty of freedom in your world because oh my gosh you manifestors you need so much freedom of choice in your world to reach that point where you feel peaceful so be sure to connect with the freedom that leads to the peace which contributes to your healing and your core preventative medicine welcome reflectors welcome to the one percent of you i love reflectors so much what is your preventative medicine it is feelings of surprise and delight what do i mean by that because it sounds pretty abstract it means that you absorb the energies of everyone around you and it can feel a little bit confusing to really understand recognize which things you are genuinely interested in that generally give you a sense of excitement within yourself or if it's someone else's feeling of excitement that you have taken on which is why you have that strategy of waiting a lunar cycle waiting that 28 days as the as the moon circles does its all its phases because if you can wait that entire time with patience noticing how you feel towards things that you think you might be interested in by the end of that time you have the potential to be surprised and delighted because the thing that you were interested in oh it's mine oh cool great go do that the more you can have those feelings of surprise and delight the happier happier yourselves are the better you are supporting your health and your healing in the long term conversely not waiting that lunar cycle and just jumping in oh i think that yeah i think that thing i'm i'm really interested in that thing let's go do it and it's a really quick decision well you risk a sense of disappointment doing it going no actually i don't like this and i want to do it no i don't like just feeling about it and wanting to change your mind again there's nothing wrong with changing your mind but the point is if you have potentially waited that lunar cycle you might have then been surprised that oh that thing actually wasn't mine you may not have been delighted because it wasn't yours but you were surprised in a way that still does serve you that is the core of what preventative medicine and healing medicine looks like for every human design energy type thank you for being here i'm grateful for you being here and i look forward to seeing you again very soon
