Aloha and welcome.
I'm going to talk today about letting go and letting God be in control.
I'm Cindy Paulos and I've had a lot of changes in my own life in this last year.
I had a stroke and I can no longer drive and it's weird because I thank God I can talk fine but I can no longer read and that's really quite a change.
And then also changes where I've been working for over 30 years at the radio station,
The station sold.
So it's a huge time of change.
Now I've studied astrology and in astrology there are fixed position signs which I happen to be and sometimes fixed position signs don't like to change as much as those that are fluid in different ways of signs changing.
So I don't know if that's part of it but I certainly have come to that point where I have to let go of what I had been doing in my life before.
And here comes the point that you really have to turn to if you're on this path,
The spiritual path,
You have to sometimes just trust and have faith and let God be in control.
I mean it's a very easy thing to say let go and let God be in control but it's very different when you're seriously experiencing some drastic changes in your life and a lot of I don't know you know there's a lot of I don't know right now but I don't know goes very well with letting God be in control because if you get there and you don't know it's best to just go okay okay God you're in control because what else can you really do?
You know what's that great statement man makes plans and God laughs God laughs while man makes plans something like that.
You know we do because we don't really know what's gonna be happening in our lives we can make a lot of plans and it's nothing wrong he plans but things can change.
And this is where the spiritual practice comes into play.
You know if you really are going to put into work what you have been practicing and studying and doing with meditation you should be able to more easily say okay I'm gonna just go with the flow and let God be in control.
It's not an easy thing however because we kind of get set in our patterns especially if you're like a fixed position sawing and you know it's easy to get into that zone where everything's kind of buzzing along buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz and you're just doing pretty good and everything's okay it's good life is good but you know it's all of a sudden things can switch.
Now I think we've been experiencing that as a country in America and things are changing and I think the whole world is rapidly accelerating and changing as well.
So if we can go to that place within where we can really just allow ourselves to be aware of this now moment you have a big big key a big way to use that tool of being present in the moment and to just really trust enough to have the faith that you will be able to do what you need to do and that things will work out.
Now this doesn't mean it's a free ride obviously you know I mean wouldn't it be wonderful we can just meditate and everything we need is taken care of.
I think some people originally got into meditation really did did believe that you know it's like okay I can manifest this but I think a lot of the people who thought that have found out it's not just a matter of meditating and thinking positive thoughts and manifesting it takes it takes some it takes some creative very creative ways of thinking and usually a lot of work to get where you wish to be in your mind but that is also part of having the faith right and the strength of that faith to be able to do what you have to do to make that manifestation that that dream whatever it may be to think creatively to trust enough to find the resources and there's a lot of a lot of really key things to make what you need happen when you're working with God so just to be clear just because you say I let go and let God be in control doesn't mean you don't have to do any work making making your life a good life and creative life and life you need and it certainly helps it certainly helps when you do have that faith and that trust and the ability that you will be guided to many times when you do have that attitude of gratitude the attitude of letting go and doing the work and letting God be in control now you can't do the work while God is in control and you will find when you do let God be in control you will be inspired in a way that you might not have otherwise been and I can't even tell you how powerful inspiration is it's one of the keys there is the inspiration and then the belief that you can do it and then the work you need to do to create it to do what you need to do and and this is an interesting process because a lot of people are trying to look for shortcuts sometimes you know and it's part of okay and get you know really rich real quickly doing this or that this and that you know but a lot of times it comes down to doing the work you know doing the work now the work can be something you love okay there's no rules saying you know work has to be something bad rules definitely can be something that you work with to you work hard with but you work with love another wonderful key okay so once you're doing what you're guided to do and with the direction of being a servant for the highest good and putting the work in you will be amazed how things can fall into place it doesn't mean you don't have to work on making them fall into place it but you work into fun having them fall into place working with the higher will of God and serving God and it's quite a process because if you get in the habit of doing something thinking you can use your own will versus turning it over to God's will there is a difference in it can you for a moment imagine the difference of just thinking that you can do it on your own versus you can work with God's will and the energy and that purpose that you're given by God to do what might be the difference there well I think as I ponder that inspiration is so so powerful as I said belief you know believing is a wonderful wonderful thing you know so so inspiration belief and that power of love that power of loving what you're doing with that inspiration that comes from the source those are wonderful tools wonderful ways wonderful ways to allow your creations to be perfect reflections of a higher will and a higher purpose and a purpose that you trust and believe in so so those are things to ponder here as we go into a little bit of a meditation to just kind of ponder those things as we take our breaths and just clear our mind and know that the breath sweeps mine just take some deep breaths in and oh boy yeah nice my my my neck just cracked whenever I breathe in going to meditation I just went oh we're gonna align here so kind of align yourself so that you're feeling good and your whole and spine are aligned as you breathe in and you breathe out and you breathe in and you hold for a second and then program into your higher consciousness I let go and I let God be in control ah breathing out breathing in and letting go and letting God be in control now reflect on any feelings that might be coming as you go through the process of taking that burden off your mind your ego you're owning it and turning it over to God as you breathe in just say I'm letting God be in control there's a shift that can happen and allow you to try to take some moments here and just just let go of being in control and let God be in control just allow yourself to feel any shift that happens when you take that off your ego and you take it off your mind and you take it up all of your thoughts the mental process and make some room for God to be in control open your mind a little further and go into your higher source of your soul and allow your soul to be inspired inspiration is a beautiful powerful thing it's a wonderful force of creativity so allow yourself to be open to that creative force how does that feel just expand your whole sense of possibilities to a higher realm where anything anything is possible with God's help and control oh just allow yourself to be inspired Oh just bathe in that wonderful gift of that light of inspiration breathing in breathing out breathing that power from the highest source of inspiration in and breathing it out feeling yourself charged with the highest source of energy and now take some moments to open that door to be able as you come out of meditation to write down anything that may have come to you any inspiration any thoughts any directions any clues leave that door open as we slowly come out of meditation and know that when you let go and let God be in control you are being divinely guided and it's a beautiful thing that can happen with so many wonderful gifts that occur I bow deeply and I'm very grateful for you being here
