A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Pollos and I wanted to talk about the gift of the creative spirit.
And there's no mistaking the fact that there's the word the creator.
And then there's creation.
That there's creativity.
And the creative spirit.
All of those based around creating.
And it's such a beautiful thing when you think of all the gifts of creation that have come.
And it seems throughout time,
Throughout history,
Some of the most inspiring.
People who gave us some of the most creative,
Wonderful gifts of all.
Origin of.
Poetry and books.
The creative movies that have been made have all been inspired.
You know,
Truly inspired and thankful.
There's an interesting thing that happens when you catch an idea.
And I say that on purpose because it comes to you.
As if it is in spirit and you catch it.
Some people swear that some of the most wonderful pieces they've done.
Have been coming to them in dreams and then they just write it down and they don't know where it really came from.
And that's an example of that it's coming from somewhere inside,
Some creative spirit.
And the fact is,
It's okay to really look.
And that is one of the greatest gifts you can use.
And you can share.
And I have found something very interesting throughout my many years,
And that's if you take something that is inspired.
And comes to you through that creative spirit.
And you use it.
And then you're open to receive more.
But if you don't use it,
If you don't share it.
It seems like it goes away.
And it's interesting how sometimes people will go to write a book,
And they get a writer's block,
And they have to do something.
How many movies have been written about people who couldn't write a book,
And something happened where they finally could write that book?
The same has happened in art.
People who are artists sometimes get a block and then all of a sudden it opens up.
It is something in our channel of energy that is coming from inside.
And it's our own inner truth and if we don't follow that.
That gift that comes to us and we don't share it.
We don't use it.
It seems like it just closes off.
And I don't think it matters if it makes money or it's popular or unpopular.
It's not based on that.
It's really not based on how many people.
Watch it or listen to it.
It's based on instead.
The gift of the intention.
The intention.
The insight that comes.
And being able to share it and wanting to share it in some way that you have to share it.
And there's so many wonderful gifts we've received throughout humanity that have come in this fantastic way.
Gifts,
Inspiration.
Gifts of inspiration that can be shared.
And can be used by others.
And I think it's speeding up to a degree.
Now,
Here's an issue I want to talk a little bit about.
More and more teachers are saying.
That students are using AI to write their classes,
Their work that is being asked to be done.
If they have to write a piece or if there's a lecture or something.
People are calling upon AI.
And so AI creates it.
And then they just submit it or read it.
Basically maybe change a line or two.
But it's coming from AI.
Now,
If that is happening,
And it is,
You ask any of these amazing teachers.
People who are in charge of going through what people are offering in schools.
If that is being done through AI,
Then you are not being able to tap into that.
Gift of the creative spirit.
You're not going to the source.
Of where it comes from.
Now I'm very aware that AI is a tool that we can use that can help us and give us information.
And that is a gift,
But it's very hard to control just using that information that's free versus using it in many other ways.
Now,
I see this happening more and more,
Unfortunately,
In music soundtracks,
Soundtracks to movies.
More and more,
They're using AI to create.
There are now people who are.
.
.
AI musicians.
AI creators and they're giving them names and they're doing some one person.
Well,
It's not a person.
See,
I'm saying a person.
One AI is doing extremely well,
And it's one of the tops of the charts.
This is an issue that is going to happen more and more because it's such an amazing free thing that you can get.
That might be better than what you might be able to create.
So you're gonna be very tempted.
To use it,
To call upon it,
To do something creative.
And we're just at the very beginning stages of this happening.
Now as AI gets more and more advanced,
And more and more people are going to use it,
Call upon it,
Use it in schools,
Using it for movies,
Using it in creativity,
In almost every single aspect of life.
So then what happens to that creative spirit?
Then where does that energy,
The creative creation.
.
.
Energy pouring through you come from.
Well,
You might see it getting more advanced,
Because I think it is every time it's used.
Something's done with a little instruction,
I think it gets more and more creative.
But we could very,
Very easily lose that gift that comes from Spirit.
Because we let AI do it for us.
And that truly would be such a loss,
Truly a loss to the world when we have musicians not able to be recognized because they're using the AI to do it for them.
When we see movies created by AI,
When we see books,
And that's already happening,
Books created by AI,
This is something that a lot of people aren't talking about,
But it's a huge,
Huge issue.
And there's been more and more studies by very intelligent people finding that AI.
.
.
Can be corrupted,
And that AI,
In fact,
Will lie.
Will tell you what it thinks you want to hear.
I was amazed when I saw some stories on how this happens.
So we have to be very protective of this creative spirit.
And we have to be very dedicated.
To this creative spirit.
And we have to honor it.
And we have to be able to go inside and tap into it and see what comes through us.
Even though the temptation is,
Well,
Maybe I don't need that anymore because I can just have it done by AI,
Doesn't take away from that beautiful channel of energy you get from within and how you share it.
So that's what I just wanted to bring up today.
The power of the creative spirit is precious.
To be treasured.
And not to be allowed to disappear because of the temptation to just use AI in life.
And I thank you so much for being open to this idea and for taking the time to really listen.
And I hope and pray that you honor that creative spirit and share it and use it any way you can.
And I bow in deepest gratitude.
