I'd like to talk today about what you do when you encounter blocks.
Now some of us go through a whole time where everything is just flowing.
You just go about your business and can create,
Create,
Do beautiful things and do what you have to do.
Sometimes there's mercury in retrograde,
But at times it goes even beyond just mercury in retrograde and you have to just stop.
You have to stop and realize that pushing ahead when you are blocked doesn't necessarily do what you wish to accomplish.
I mean what can you do?
You can stop,
You can stop and you can breathe and you can meditate and you can reflect on what's going on.
Pushing ahead can be okay at times,
But there are times where obviously there's a traffic jam,
You're gonna stop,
Right?
You have to learn to deal with the blocks and the patience and what it takes.
Now as far as traffic,
Many of you have seen that more and more traffic occurs and it's taking you more patience to get where you're going.
Now spiritually it can also be like that as well.
It can be at points where you have to pause and you have to be comfortable with knowing how to stop and what you do in those cases where you just are going,
Okay I'm here,
I'm here,
What's going on?
And you breathe and you breathe and you breathe and then you start to notice that tension in your head,
Maybe your neck,
Maybe your hands,
Maybe your back.
When you do enough breathing,
We'll get to the point where you get past what your body and your mind goes through.
When you're trying to accomplish something that's being blocked.
Now you may not even be aware of what your body and mind go through when you're trying to do what you need to do and there's blocks that occur.
It's because you're so focused on trying to get past the blocks that you're not even aware of what it's doing to your emotions and what it's doing to your mind.
And then,
You know,
It's not until you just say,
Okay,
Okay,
I'm here,
What's going on?
Let me just take a few deep breaths and look inside and just to breathe past this point.
And that's a really useful tool to learn to accomplish because,
You know,
You can beat your head against a brick wall,
But it isn't going to necessarily move the brick wall.
You know,
You go,
You're just okay.
At some point,
You go,
That's not working right.
And there might be a reason why you are being directed to stop and to pause.
You know,
It could be a cycle of what you're going through.
And it's always good to be able to stop and be comfortable and not frustrated and angry that you can't accomplish what you want to do at that time you want to accomplish it.
Now,
I went through a major experience of this when I had a stroke and it's taken me much longer to do simple things that it used to take me,
I don't know,
Five minutes can take me an hour now.
And I'll tell you,
That gets frustrating.
It's like,
Oh my gosh.
But frustration is there,
But it truthfully doesn't help.
Truthfully,
Frustration and anger at a situation that's taking more time only makes it worse.
So you have to stop.
And it's good to be able to be comfortable with just being and to stop and say,
Okay,
All right.
So that's what I want to do a little meditation on today is what you do when things are blocked that you have to accept and how you deal with it.
And in our spiritual path,
I think a lot of people may think that their spiritual path is going to make things easier to accomplish or that you get past things and you can get things accomplished more easily or doesn't necessarily mean easy,
Doesn't necessarily mean fast.
Easy can be a state of mind.
Easy can be like being okay,
And at peace with where you are.
It's a very valuable tool,
Especially as we're seeing in the world much more traffic,
Much more blocks,
Much more,
I'll take for example,
What we see when people want to take a trip and they may have cancellations that go on for two days.
I mean,
It's becoming more and more common when you fly to have delays and cancellations.
So you really do encounter that,
Especially when you're traveling.
So this is very good for you if you're traveling and you see that your flight's being canceled.
So what do you do?
Your first thing you do is you breathe,
Of course.
You know,
Breath sweeps mind.
So you breathe in and you hold it for a few seconds and kind of check your body out because when you're holding your breath,
You don't breathe,
You don't think as much.
So just hold your breath and then just release and release and release and release and release.
Feel your body being,
Letting go of any tension that happens when you get frustrated and try to do something you can't do.
And you breathe again and you just notice that your body might be a little looser and you breathe in and you just hold your breath at the top and you just breathe out,
Breathe out,
Breathe out,
Release,
Release,
Release.
Feel for your body.
Glad to be able to release some of the tension that might have occurred.
Breathing in,
Holding,
Checking your body from that place and breathing out,
Letting that breath out,
Release any tension that you might be holding.
Now,
If you really have been going through this deeply,
You might also find that it's helpful to actually go through your body and give each section of your body a little love and relaxation because the body reacts to tension.
So let's just breathe in and start with our feet.
Just allow your right foot to relax.
Feel that whole right foot relaxing.
Breathe in and feel the left foot and let that whole left foot be okay.
Just let it be okay.
All the toes and the bottom of your feet fine.
Feel good there and then let the light come to your calf muscles because the calf muscles go through a lot of stress.
If you've been going through things,
They get tension as well.
Feel the right calf muscle and just send it your love and light and let it be relaxed and release any tension.
Going to the left foot.
How's the left calf doing?
Let that left calf be totally relaxed and move on up to your knees and your right knee.
Just sending it love and then to your left knee.
Feeling any tension,
Releasing any tension and up to your thighs on the right side and the left.
Just feel good in your whole entire leg right now.
Send love to your legs for all they do for you and then go to the base of the spine.
A lot of times the base of the spine will also store all kinds of tension.
Just allow that base of the spine and the lower chakra,
The base chakra to be sent light and love and just send that energy there and anything that might be stored there.
Let it be released.
Let it go.
Let light come to it.
Breathe in and allow that second chakra.
Emotions might be stored there as well.
Things that are blocked might be stored there.
You might have things that you've held there.
Allow that area in your stomach to feel good.
Just allow it to feel completely okay.
Just everything is all right.
Ah,
Breathing in a lovely breath into your third chakra.
Allowing all of the different,
Oh that all the,
Oh my gosh,
Your body has so many things to release tension there.
Oh yes,
Think of your whole upper area and allow that whole area to be filled with light and just release anything that might be held there and move on up to your heart.
Let your heart speak to you now.
Listen to what your heart might say.
Allow that part of your heart that might have been frustrated or shut off or cut off because you weren't allowing it to speak.
You allow your heart to be free to express the feelings that you have.
Just feel what's in your heart and know you're in a safe and protected space.
As you breathe in,
Send your heart lots of love and send that love into your heart.
Allow your heart,
Which is based in love,
To feel that love and expand that love and fill your entire being with that love,
To fill your aura with that love and that light.
Ah,
And then going up to your shoulders and your neck and sometimes restore attention there and just allow that neck to just be okay,
To be relaxed,
To be released,
To be,
Ah,
To be good.
Sending it all that creative energy that comes through that beautiful,
Beautiful center and receive the energy in that green light of your beautiful chakra there.
Breathe in and,
Ah,
Send that energy out.
And now we're feeling pretty good and let's move to our head center and,
You know,
We have our jaw.
Oh,
I'm laughing because I think of how high star sometimes you might also tighten your jaw.
Just open your mouth and just release any tension in your jaw.
Breathe out,
Ah.
Breathe into your ears.
Feel your eyes.
Breathe into the top of the head and let the whole head be full of light.
Breathe in that light.
Ah,
Let it fill your entire being with a lovely,
Radiant light and allow that light to go out the top of your head and up and up to the soul chakras there.
That lovely energy of light and love,
The colors of your chakras.
So beautiful.
Allow yourself to sense that beautiful energy,
That radiance and that light,
And allow that light to fill your entire aura.
Surround your entire body with a lovely light of protection.
Breathing it in and feeling good,
Just feeling so good now and being grateful.
Being so grateful for all this lovely energy that you hold and that you are.
And now I've realized that there was a reason you needed to stop.
There was a reason you needed to go within.
There was a gift here in this beautiful space within you.
Let's take a few moments and just allow your soul to speak to you.
Now,
The soul doesn't necessarily speak in a regular language,
But the soul does communicate.
And if in the silence,
You just allow it,
You can find sometimes what that soul is wishing to say.
Just breathe in the opening and just be present with your soul.
Feel good.
And listen.
Breathe that energy,
The soul is into all parts of you.
Renew and restore it and revitalize your entire body with this beautiful soul energy.
Breathe it in and breathe it out.
Feel that soul energy radiating through you,
Just breathing it in through you,
Just breathing it in and breathing it out and feel good.
Now slowly come back,
Come back into your being.
Ah,
Feel this wonderful energy restoring,
Renewing,
Revitalizing you.
And take a few moments to realize how you've been recharged and to be grateful for this wonderful,
Wonderful time with your soul.
