A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and I wanted to talk about The power of forgiveness.
And being able to get past being bothered.
By what people do.
And it's not just people.
I mean,
We can get bothered by what we see on TV and ads and a lot of things.
A lot of things in the world can bother us.
But it's like understanding the bigger picture and understanding.
Getting down to the heart of the matter.
And when you get into the heart of the matter.
You do understand how you can get past all those little things.
The weird part is that when you're going through something that bothers you about something or someone,
It seems like it's a big matter,
And that's the mind usually.
It's the mind getting stuck on something.
Why?
Well,
Usually if you look at it.
It triggers something in you.
That gets you upset.
Why?
Why would it trigger something in you?
Perhaps there's something in you.
That it triggers that you don't want or you don't like to see.
So it could go back right back that mirror,
You know,
That mirror that goes back to you.
Because we do project outwards so often.
We project what we have within ourselves outward into the world.
It's our state of mind.
It's very common.
That we judge and see things based on what we see within ourselves and the way we see things within ourselves.
Now,
Getting back to what I always like to get back to,
Which is looking within in meditation,
When you practice meditation and when you do meditate a lot.
You do delve into this awareness.
Which goes very deep.
The depth of awareness is pretty amazing.
It's quite a deep,
Deep pool that you can dive into.
That awareness goes in so many levels.
And I have found,
Being someone who's probably oversensitive,
That a lot of developed people or a lot of other people who are sensitive.
Empaths and others do and can take things too personally when they're sensitive because they can be too aware and have a lot that they can take where it can hurt them.
But that's why it's even more important.
It's so much more important to have some kind of self-regulating awareness that you can let yourself know.
It's like,
Oh,
Red flag.
Nope.
Don't go there.
There,
This is something in you that's coming up.
It's not something that other person did.
You took this personally because,
You know,
If you find out why,
You know,
That red flag,
It's like,
Why did you do that?
Oh,
Okay,
Okay,
The inner awareness goes,
Oh,
Maybe you did that because there was something in you that got upset,
You know,
Not something that the other person did.
Another way to look at it.
Is that giving you when you have something that comes up?
Look at,
Oh,
Here's an opportunity.
To get past whatever is upsetting me about what happened.
Look at it as an opportunity.
To really expand your awareness and your consciousness.
So there's so many opportunities,
But we can always turn whatever it is that might trigger us.
In a judgment might trigger us in being upset.
With someone else,
We can take that into a higher state of mind.
And an inner awareness to realize and look at it objectively.
So important to look at it objectively,
Not emotionally.
But objectively like it's a movie picture,
A moving picture,
Something within your life that you're looking at.
And see what's going on and see it as a movie and it's like,
Oh,
I know that movie.
Yeah,
I've seen something like that movie before.
It's like,
Okay,
Here's how I wish it to end.
This is what I can do with it.
And you can control your life in many ways when you are aware.
And when you're deciding to take action and awareness into your life,
To correct whatever it is that you might be responding to emotionally.
And it really can save friendships.
It can save a lot of angst.
And it truly is a gift when you can do that,
When you can be aware.
And I have certainly found that meditation and being able to go within in meditation and awareness.
That you can do these things and take them within and really help your life in so many amazing ways.
And I want to encourage you,
Truly encourage you to take that awareness and use it.
You know,
Like a class.
Your life is a classroom.
Take it into your classroom and Learn your lesson,
You know,
Graduate.
To the next level.
Why not?
I want to bow in deepest gratitude to you for taking the time to listen and for understanding.
And for sharing whatever you wish to share.
The big deep bow of gratitude,
Always,
And love,
Cindy.
