This meditation is good for moving through difficulties and allowing internal conflict to pass. It helps you to build compassion for yourself (and others) which neutralizes ruminating, and worrying by converting that energy into emotions to express and release. Listen if you are getting stuck trying to solve problems over and over in your head.

This meditation is good for moving through difficulties and allowing internal conflict to pass.

By building compassion for yourself and others,

You can turn worrying and trying to solve your problems into an energy you can actually use to feel more powerful and grounded.

This meditation is a bit different to most loving-kindness meditations.

The backing music is a little quicker because I wanted to get the energies going.

Any yawning or crying during this meditation is a good sign you are grounding.

I hope you get something from it and let me know any feedback you have.

Close your eyes now and allow yourself to become present as you focus on your heart and imagine you are breathing into it as you say in your head,

I am open to compassion.

I accept all emotions.

These are my energies and I allow them to move through.

Bring into mind all your striving,

Trying to make things work,

The internal conflicts,

How you always just wanted to do good and to be good and allow some compassion for yourself now as you repeat these words,

May I be safe,

May I be healthy,

May I be happy,

May I live with ease.

May I be safe,

May I be healthy,

May I be happy,

May I live with ease.

Bring into mind a loved one and see them in front of you now,

See them in their daily struggles and as you have compassion for them,

Say in your mind to them now,

May you be safe,

May you be healthy,

May you be happy,

May you live with ease.

Now bring into mind an acquaintance,

Someone you have neutral feelings about and see them in their daily struggle and as your compassion for them grows,

Say in your mind to them,

May you be safe,

May you be healthy,

May you live with ease.

Now bring into mind somebody you have difficulty with and even though there may be conflict,

Allow some compassion for them,

Struggling as we all do and say to them in your mind,

May you be safe,

May you be healthy,

May you be happy,

May you live with ease.

And now bring into mind all peoples of the world,

See different nations and cultures,

Some different from your life,

Some in conflict and some sleeping peacefully.

And now say to all people,

May we be safe,

May we be healthy,

May we be happy,

May we live with ease.

And feel compassion filling you and flowing out into the world as you say again to all people,

May we be safe,

May we be healthy,

May we be happy,

May we live with ease.

And as you now allow yourself to move through,

You move forward.
