Welcome and thank you for joining me for this New Moon Meditation.
Every 28 days or so,
The moon appears to go dark.
And it's the perfect moment for us to go inward and focus on our intentions and focus on our wishes.
What are you ready to create for the next month?
What are you wishing for?
You can return to this meditation every new moon as part of your ritual.
I recommend having a journal and a pen by your side to write down the messages revealed to you during this meditation.
Keep an open mind and enjoy the stillness and the magic.
Okay,
Let's start.
Find a comfortable seated position.
You can sit down on a chair or on a cushion.
The important thing is to sit up straight,
Shoulders back,
Your hands open on your lap and a smile on your face.
Let's begin with focusing on our breathing.
Breathe in and notice the sounds around you.
Breathe out and imagine that you can fade out the sounds like using a volume button.
Do this a couple of times until you are surrounded by complete stillness.
In the beginning it might be tricky.
However,
You will master fading out sounds in no time.
With every breath,
Feel yourself being lifted as if transported on the magic carpet until you reach a comfortable and safe space on the moon.
Open your mind's eye and take in the scenery.
How does it feel to be on the moon?
Is it cold?
Is it dark?
Is it light?
How does our planet look like from far away?
Are you hearing any sounds?
Remember you can always fade out the sounds by using the imaginary volume button.
As you sit and wonder at the beauty of our universe,
You observe a beautiful lady walking towards you.
You look closely and you know it is no other than Selina,
The goddess of the moon.
Selina comes to you to help you clear and cleanse the energies that no longer serve you.
Take some time to talk with the goddess of the moon.
Tell her what your wishes and intentions are.
Feel the lightness of being,
Sharing your story,
Asking for support.
Selina then smiles,
Opens her arms and from her hands,
This warm light comes out making its way to you.
Imagine this light as tiny little gold sparkles falling on top of your head,
Like a gentle rain embracing you,
Cleansing you,
Cleansing your aura,
Clearing your energies.
This light will enter your physical body from the top of your head and flood your chakras with healing light starting from your crown chakra,
Down to your third eye,
Down to your throat chakra,
Down to your heart chakra.
Feel this beautiful energy filling your heart chakra melting down insecurities,
Pain,
Fear,
Anger.
Visualise this light moving down to your solar plexus.
See how this light is rekindling the fire within you.
Now see the light move down to your sacral chakra and down to your root chakra.
Now observe this light flowing out from your arms and feet creating a beautiful light shield around you.
You feel lighter,
Peaceful,
Safe.
As you sit here in peace,
Take in a deep breath and feel this pillar of light going through you and surrounding you.
You feel this beauty surrounding you and you feel grateful.
You feel loved.
You feel complete.
Goddess Selina smiles and she begins to talk to you.
What message does she have for you today?
What would she like you to focus on?
What do you need to let go?
Take some time to focus on the message.
Feel the emotions.
Trust that any sensation that you are experiencing right now is true.
And breathe.
Breathe in.
As you bid farewell to Selina,
You thank her for the message.
You feel yourself being lifted and transported back home.
Back to your chair.
Back to your cushion.
You feel lighter than ever.
Calm.
Happy.
But above all,
You feel grateful.
Sit with this feeling and focus on your breathing.
As we come close to the end of this journey,
I ask you to,
As you breathe in,
Put your right hand on your left shoulder.
And as you exhale,
Slowly lay your head on your right hand.
Breathe in and place your left hand on your right shoulder.
And as you exhale,
Slowly lay your head on your left hand.
Now give yourself a hug and feel the universe lovingly embracing you.
Now gently open your eyes.
Give yourself one last hug.
Then open your journal and write down or draw any messages that you may have received today.
And as Dr.
Wayne Dyer says,
Feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
