Letting your eyes feel heavy and soft at the same time.
As the eyelids act as curtains bringing in the darkness.
Bringing in a neutral canvas.
Where we can soften our minds.
As we focus on that.
Blank,
Empty canvas.
No need to think or process.
Giving our eyes a moment to fully relax.
Fully rest.
Noticing any sounds near or far.
Becoming aware of hearing itself.
These beautiful ears.
Connecting you to the outer world.
Feeling some gratitude for your ears.
The beautiful sounds of life.
That bring us connection and move us beyond the self.
Regardless of pleasant or unpleasant sounds,
Just being grateful for the ability to hear.
Being aware of your mouth.
Of your vocal cords and the ability to speak,
The ability to connect.
To share your truth.
To share your love with the world.
How amazing.
That you get to connect with others.
You get to shine your light.
Through your voice,
Through your words.
And that we get to receive the abundance of food and flavor in our mouths.
Being grateful for the moment.
Sending some love there now.
And bring your awareness up to your incredible brain that works so hard for you.
Day and night,
Always.
Always on.
Trying its best to keep you safe.
Trying its best to find happiness.
And sometimes.
Most often,
The cause of our suffering comes from the brain as well.
Yet is always trying its best with the tools that it has and the experiences that it's received in your past.
Placing your awareness on your brain.
And letting a light sense of joy infuse in your brain,
Just a little bit of gratitude.
A little bit of light to shine there,
Thanking it.
For its incredible hard work.
And we can also at the same time invite it to relax now.
Saying thank you,
But.
You may take a break.
You may slow down.
You may rest.
As we lean into your wisdom,
Your third eye,
Your intuition,
This deep knowing.
This deep knowing within you.
Of what serves and supports you.
Of how to find that happiness and how to release that suffering.
Leaning into your wisdom.
Taking some deep breaths there.
And sensing this knowing within you.
That we can access when the mind slows down.
Sensing your inner knowing or your spirit.
And holding space for that within you.
Letting that shine through the cells of your body.
And I would love for you to scan through your body now.
And see if there is an area of discomfort,
Of pain.
Maybe you feel a little bit of energy that you're called to as well.
Maybe very subtle.
Or it may be more coarse.
See where you're called to in your body.
And trust the first area that you're called to.
Bring your awareness there.
And see if you can find some gratitude for how this has been.
Served you or supported you.
How this area of your body fulfills.
Your purpose.
And allows you.
To experience the beauty in this life.
Regardless of if it's struggling or in pain.
Having this gratitude for its existence.
For this part of your body to exist.
A light in their gratitude.
We don't have to be conscious about it.
It can be a feeling,
A felt sense.
An inner smile.
And openness,
A warmth.
And we're not trying to shift the body or its experience.
We're simply bringing a loving awareness there now.
Let's become aware of your entire body now,
Your whole body.
The front,
The back,
The inside.
Spreading your awareness,
Making it wide.
Embodying the body.
Embodying the body.
Taking up the space of the body with your awareness.
Noting how it feels.
There may be areas of pain and discomfort,
And there may be areas of ease,
Of openness.
There's no wrong way for the body to feel.
It just is as it is,
Right?
It is as it is.
And as we are aware of the body,
Let us light it up with that warmth,
That gratitude.
That feeling of abundance.
For your existence.
Thanking the body for its existence.
For allowing it to be a vessel of consciousness.
A vessel for your essence.
For your truth.
For your light,
For your dark.
For your past,
For your future.
A vessel for your heart.
Below.
That may flow now for the love that has flooded through your heart gates in your past and for the love that may shine through in your future.
Thanking this body for the connection.
Allowing you to connect to others,
To share your light.
For you to receive from others.
Receiving their love,
Their support.
Receiving them as they are.
And thanking this body for the functions that it allows you to access.
Focusing on the positive.
And the abilities that you are able to do.
Whether it's breathing and being present,
Walking,
Dancing,
Singing,
Running,
Whatever it may be.
Holding that gratitude now.
