Hello,
Beautiful soul.
Welcome to our daily gratitude practice.
G.
K.
Chesterton once said,
I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.
Take a moment to relax as we scan through your body,
Letting a warm gratitude flow and offer a loving acceptance to each body part just as it is,
Appreciating its function and how it serves you.
A warm gratitude flowing to your head and your scalp.
Feel that gratitude flow into your eyes,
Your nose,
Shining into your ears,
Placing a grateful awareness on your mouth,
Emanating gratitude to your throat,
Extending gratitude out from your chest,
Letting it flow down your arms and your hands.
Gratitude warming your upper back,
Flowing down the spine to the lower back,
Filling your abdomen with a grateful essence,
Letting your pelvic bowl hold the light of gratitude,
Feeling joy flow down into your legs,
Your knees,
Letting a warm gratitude flow down all the way to your feet,
Appreciating the amazing work that they do for you.
Holding a gratitude for your entire body and for your very existence now.
Let's extend this gratitude out to another person now.
Bring someone to mind who you are truly grateful for.
Appreciate their wonderful qualities and gifts and send them a gentle thank you.
Let's shine a compassionate light towards a current challenge that you're facing or even a challenging person in your life.
Bring to mind a difficulty that can be softened with a thread of gratitude towards it now and the potential gift of acceptance or growth that it offers you.
Let's shine gratitude towards Mother Nature in the animal kingdom,
Thanking the planet for existing and offering us wonder and connection.
Share your gratitude with all of humanity now,
Holding a heartfelt thank you for every human's existence and positive contributions to the planet in our shared humanity.
Finally,
Let us turn fully inwards to you,
Holding a deep gratitude for who you are and the wonderful gifts that you bring to humanity and the planet.
Wonderful work illuminating your heart today.
May you see beauty everywhere that you turn.
