This addiction practice focuses on drawing up compassion from within to help heal wounds,
Traumas,
And shadows that have been pulling you into addictive behaviors.
Close your eyes and sit or lay in a comfortable position.
Begin to draw in longer and fuller breaths as you nourish your body.
Notice how your body feels in this moment.
We create a safe and loving space for you to be held in throughout this practice.
Give yourself permission to soften and unwind in this safe space.
Is there any tension in your jaw or face?
Allow it to soften and release.
Inviting your eyes and eyelids to rest and take a well-deserved break.
Let go of any tightness in your neck or shoulders.
A softness enters your chest,
Your back,
And abdomen.
It expands into your arms and legs,
Extending to your toes and fingers.
Grant your body permission to let go of any tension it is holding.
Mental tension is relieved from your body and an openness unravels.
Surrender and release anything that does not serve your highest good.
Let go of lingering pain from your past with each exhale.
See it exit your body when you exhale as a cloud of smoke,
Making space for you to draw in the pure white light of love as you inhale.
If you are ready,
Free yourself from suffering by offering forgiveness to those who have hurt you,
Sending them acceptance and forgiveness for their wrongdoings as you release these past pains that have been weighing you down.
If you are ready,
Free yourself from suffering by offering forgiveness to yourself for the times you may have hurt others,
Freeing yourself from this pressure that has been weighing you down.
Free yourself from suffering by offering forgiveness to yourself for the times you were neglectful or harmful to yourself,
For the times you did not show yourself love and gentleness.
Offer forgiveness here and now.
Send your compassion towards all people.
Invite self-love and worthiness to flow from your heart to all parts of you.
Inhaling compassion,
Exhaling forgiveness.
Inhaling compassion,
Exhaling forgiveness.
What would happen if you accepted yourself for all that you are?
If you are ready,
Accept yourself now,
All of you,
The light,
The dark,
Every piece of you,
Love it and hold space for it now.
Appreciate your whole being,
Feeling gratitude for your unique essence and soul.
Take a moment to be aware of your soul gifts.
What things do you appreciate about yourself?
What are you grateful for?
Show appreciation to yourself for taking this time to do this practice,
For nourishing your body and mind with this compassionate meditation that you are deserving of.
Treat your body and soul with positive thoughts and actions because you are worthy.
I send you so much love,
Peace,
And joy on your journey.
Thank you for doing this soul work.
