Dearest heart,

It's time to gently transition into the embrace of restful,

Restorative sleep.

Lie down comfortably in your sacred resting space.

Allow your body to simply sink into the bed.

Feeling fully supported and held,

You may gently close your eyes.

Take a deep,

Comforting breath in through your nose and a slow,

Soft,

Releasing sigh out through your mouth.

Bring your tender awareness to your breath,

Feeling its natural,

Soothing rhythm.

Notice how each inhale gently fills you and each exhale allows you to release,

To soften,

To surrender just a little bit more.

Now bring your loving attention to your feet.

Feel them relaxing,

Truly letting go of any lingering tension from the day.

Gently move your awareness up to your calves and shins,

Softly relaxing,

Becoming heavy.

Bring your awareness and touch your knees,

Your thighs,

Feeling wonderfully heavy and at ease.

Feel your hips relaxing deeply into the bed.

Allow your abdomen to soften with each breath,

Your chest gently rising and falling as it creates a lullaby of peace.

Let your shoulders drop,

Releasing any burdens they may be carrying.

Your arms become wonderfully heavy.

Your hands and fingers completely relaxed,

Soft and still.

Feel your neck releasing any tension or stiffness,

Your jaw softening,

Your lips parting slightly,

Your facial muscles relaxing,

Your eyelids are heavy,

Your forehead smooth and serene,

Like a calm lake without ripples or waves.

Imagine your entire body becoming incredibly heavy,

Sinking deeper and deeper into the loving embrace of your bed.

You are safe,

You are supported and you are completely at peace.

Allow your mind to gently drift with your breath into deeper and deeper states of relaxation,

Into the arms of slumber.

Know that you are drifting into a truly peaceful and restorative sleep.

Filled with gentle magic and may your rest be deep and replenishing.
