This is Day 5 of a seven-day series of Chakra Balancing Mindfulness Meditation. A simple, easy meditation to help maintain a healthy energy system within our body. When the 7 days are completed, please feel free to repeat the cycle or work on a particular chakra that you feel like. This recording contains binaural beats ~ Theta waves ~ to allow one enter a deeper meditative state. Please put on headphones to enjoy the benefits of the audio effects.

Please be seated in a quiet place where you will not be distracted.

Sit up straight.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your eyebrows.

Let's do a simple hand gesture,

Nana Mudra,

To allow a better flow of energy in our body.

Place both hands on your lap,

Palms facing up with your thumb slightly touching your index finger.

Relax your whole body.

Breathe naturally in and out through your nose.

We'll start by a grounding procedure to secure ourselves with Mother Earth to help us feel safer.

Imagine there are tree roots coming out of your first chakra which is at the tip end of your spine,

Passing through both legs,

Opening the bottom of your feet,

Going down to the ground,

The soil,

All the way to the center of the Earth.

When we inhale,

We breathe in clean and fresh air from Gaya through the roots,

Our legs,

To our root chakra,

Up to our body.

As we exhale,

We release unnecessary energies traveling through our legs,

Bottom of our feet,

Tree roots,

And send them back to the center of the Earth.

We are securely connected with this planet.

We feel grateful for Gaya for receiving our unwanted energies.

Thank you.

Now we open our fifth chakra,

The throat chakra,

Is located in our throat area,

Our neck.

It's the energy point of our voice.

A healthy throat chakra allows us to have the confidence and integrity to express ourselves clearly.

The color of this energy center is sky blue.

In the following minutes,

We'll practice a mindfulness breathing exercise.

In each exhale,

We send love to the throat chakra,

Helping it to rotate healthily.

Meantime,

Imagine there's a blue energy spinning slowly in the area.

You may hear a slight bell sound at the back.

This is to remind you to stay focused on your breathing and send more love to the throat chakra.

There may be some distracting thoughts flying around in your mind.

That's completely fine.

Simply let them leave quietly.

Then return to your breathing.

Spine straight,

Relax your shoulders,

And let's spend some more time and breathe into our throat chakra.
