Hello,

Hello beautiful friends.

This is Brittany Lee.

I'm so happy to have you back here to meditate.

This is going to be such a beautiful experience.

I had this vision come to my mind recently as I looked out over the ocean in a state of true surrender.

We're moving through a wild time.

As all years come to an end,

We begin to reflect,

Looking back on what this year had to offer,

What we may have let go of this year.

Everything that's gotten us to this point,

To this day.

Whether it's the end of a year,

An end of a day,

It's all the same.

We move through cycles and flows,

Lessons and teachings.

All of those lessons,

Teachings,

Cycles and flows move us into the next step.

It really is what we let go of that determines how high we can fly.

This meditation is made and intended for you to truly surrender physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally.

We're going to go on a beautiful visual journey together and quite literally release the shackles,

Release anything that's holding us back so that we can soar into 2021 and beyond with grace and awareness,

Mindfulness.

I invite you to get comfortable,

Either sitting or laying.

Whatever feels best,

Just listen to your body.

Just really sink into the space that you're in,

Becoming one with that space.

Letting any sounds or temperatures become part of this experience.

Being the observer without judgment.

That is what true surrender is after all.

Start noticing the rise and fall of your belly button as you take a breath in and out.

Letting that breath move any energy,

Just allow it to flow up and down your body.

Letting those cleansing breaths purify you at a cellular level.

Taking deeper breaths now.

Noticing how those deeper breaths shift your energy as well.

Scanning your body for any pain or ailments,

Stiffness.

Sending your breath to those areas,

Allowing any pain to just melt away,

Dripping off your body like honey.

Letting go.

Start noticing the energy around you,

That expansiveness,

The oneness.

It's almost as if the more you surrender to this experience,

The more you become one with your surroundings,

There's less of a separation occurring.

Take your eyes and roll them upwards.

Almost as if you're looking at the bridge of your nose right between your eyebrows.

Activating that third eye center.

Do you see any white light?

Do you feel any pressure?

With our third eye activated,

Let's begin the visual journey now.

I'm sure all of you have seen a lake in a photo,

A video,

A movie,

Or a beautiful memory with a lake.

Take yourself to that place now.

Noticing that you're in this space alone,

Barefoot,

Connecting with the earth and the elements around you.

Looking around,

You can see the trees across the lake reflecting perfectly on the water.

You can hear children playing and splashing.

Maybe there's even some boats in the distance.

Beautiful green grass leading down to the sand or rocks at the lake bed.

Looking behind you to see a beautiful cabin,

A beautiful home,

So quaint and sweet.

Noticing all the birds in the sky just playing with no care in the world.

That perfect temperature,

Slight breeze.

You can feel the sun just beaming down on you,

Warming you up perfectly.

As you walk down closer to the water,

You notice the blades of grass between your toes.

Noticing how some spots are very cool from the shade and others are so warm from the sun.

Every step being made with intention.

Noticing all the parts of your body that move as you take a step and how they move in unison without any effort on your part.

Noticing the dock,

That light wood.

Stepping onto the dock,

You can feel the water and hear the water splashing gently along the bottom.

As you look close into the water,

You can see the small fish playing,

Swimming.

At the end of the dock,

You notice a few items,

But you can't quite make out what they are yet.

As you get closer,

You notice it's a set of weighted shackles.

Looking down at your feet,

You realize these were placed here for you.

As you slide them on your feet,

They lock instantly.

No key in sight.

It's almost as if something's just pulling you to the water.

Typically,

This would be a scary feeling.

But it's almost as if you know that's exactly where you need to go.

Allow yourself without fear to jump into the water.

Noticing just how quickly you sink lower and lower.

The sun gets more distant through the water.

The temperature starts to get colder.

And the beating of your heart gets louder.

And yet,

You still trust that you are okay and you will be okay.

How often in life do we have to surrender to the fall?

How often have you felt as though the light is slipping away,

That light at the end of the tunnel may have become harder to see?

And even when you wanted to give up,

You still didn't.

That's why you're still here today.

Sinking lower and lower.

Until eventually you feel that sand hit your feet.

You are now at the bottom.

The rocky bottom.

Right as your mind starts to doubt.

Right when you feel you can't possibly hold on any longer.

You feel a release.

You feel the shackles break free.

And slowly,

You start to rise to the surface.

Realizing anything that you feel is holding you down right now.

That too shall pass.

It's in the surrender of the fall.

It's in the surrender of the hardest times that we face that we have the breakthrough.

The miracle.

That aha moment.

And then we rise again to the top.

Slowly but surely,

You start to notice the water getting warmer.

The sun is playing with the top of the water as it sparkles.

You get to the top perfectly in time to take your next breath.

Instead of gasping for a breath,

You notice that you're exhilarated.

You're thrilled.

You feel so good that you took the plunge and that you trusted the entire time.

Allow your body to relax and float at the surface of the water.

Reflecting on that experience of surrender.

And how you really did put those shackles on your feet.

No one made you do that.

No one forced you.

You did it willingly.

You felt called to do it.

And through that experience in your fall,

In your surrender,

You learned something beautiful.

Your strength.

Your willpower.

As you float and the sun beams down on your body,

Just really reflect.

What places in your life can you release the shackles on right now?

How can you let go even more?

Where are you reaching?

Where are you gasping when you could just be floating and trusting?

Allowing yourself to slowly swim back to the dock.

Lifting yourself up.

Noticing that cleansing feeling on your skin.

That expansiveness of your soul.

Looking back at the lake once more,

Just really soaking it up.

Having gratitude for this experience.

Knowing you can always come back to this place.

And take the leap.

Start wiggling your fingers and your toes,

Coming back to this moment.

To your body.

To your physical surroundings.

Taking a nice deep breath in.

An honorable exhale.

Placing your hands on your heart center,

Having so much gratitude for these lessons,

For this guidance.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
