This practice will guide you in preparing for a new phase in your life. You will travel back through the past, letting go of unwanted baggage - emotions and ideas that no longer serve you. As you go you become lighter. You find a place inside yourself where there is inspiration and imagination, so you can trust yourself to envision and create the future you desire.

You you you Prepare yourself for a journey a journey of the mind As you go you will gain awareness Awareness and knowledge of your body your mind in your emotions and As you go traveling back through the past toward the future You will leave behind those things which hinder your progress At each stage as you release the past you will feel lighter Your whole being will become fully alive and your creativity Will begin to flow The preparation begins with your breathing the breath which is life itself As you inhale you draw in life as You exhale You let go of all those things that inhibit you That keep you from being fully alive from feeling at peace Watch your breath Draw the breath in And out And in and out Let go Let go of the tensions in your body Let go of all those things that keep your mind running around in circles and Those are negative emotions That Accompany them With every out breath With each cycle of the breath draw in life Expand the life in your body Slowly fully deeply Breathe to the lower abdomen the belly Slow deep full connected breaths Slowly and deeply take the breath in now And let go Breathe in And let go With each in breath feel your torso expand more and more With each out breath let go of tension Relax Breathing in life You become aware of the way you feel The way you feel physically your thoughts your emotions Breathe out Let all the negativities flow from your body with every out breath Watch your breath flow in a cycle Breathing in life And letting go of the tensions For appearing yourself for this journey of creativity Now imagine yourself driving a car along a country road Now imagine yourself driving a car along a country road.

Your eyes are watching the dotted line in the middle of the road and there's a greenery on either side.

The car is smooth as you drive further and further into the country and you're aware of the lines coming up towards the car and the fence posts on either side of the road.

They rush up towards you and then disappear under the car and out the corner of your eyes.

You're travelling back into the past.

You're going to leave behind all that baggage that you're carrying with you from the past.

Baggage that you no longer need.

Things that stop you now from creating the life that you want to create.

And always looking at your life right now at home,

At work,

Your social life.

And as you look at this become aware of the emotions that are associated with those situations.

See yourself at home.

Do you like living where you live?

How do you interact with the people around you?

Look at the positives and look at the negatives.

Take a deep breath and let go of those negatives.

Leave them behind.

And your work.

Look at your work.

Are you excited by it?

Do you like going to work in the morning?

If you don't,

Why not?

Just cast your mind over that work situation.

Look at it as a whole.

The good and the bad.

Focus on what is good and let go of the bad.

And your social life.

Have you got the friends that you want?

How do you feel?

How do you feel about the people that you spend time with?

Have you got people that you spend time with?

What do you need to add to your life?

What do you need from people?

Make a note of it and travel on.

Only once more at the rod in front of you.

Just leaving aside now those things in the present situation that seem to burden you.

Just leave them behind for the time being.

And travel back.

Travel back to see where you've come from.

Look back to last year.

Around Christmas,

New Year.

What were you doing?

How were you feeling?

What were the emotions there last Christmas,

New Year period?

Were they successes?

Was they happiness?

Did you travel?

Were you alone?

Did you have what you wanted?

If there's any pain there,

Let it go.

If there are any negative emotions around it,

Let it go.

Just let it go.

Drop it out the car window and keep on traveling back.

Keep on traveling back to a period two years ago.

Two years ago,

What were you doing?

How were you feeling?

What were the successes in your life?

What were the frustrations?

Note the things that you did well,

That you enjoyed doing,

Because you'll meet those again in the future.

Leave behind those things that brought you down,

That are still weighing you down,

That you carry around from the past.

Let them go.

Let them go.

Travel back now further.

You see various incidents flash up in front of you and then disappear as you travel back through the years.

Think of your first love affair,

The first person you truly loved.

Think of the joy and the excitement and think of the other.

Was there other?

Was there pain?

Was there disappointment?

Was there confusion and a lack of knowledge of how to make a relationship work?

Look at it in its entirety,

That first big love affair.

But let go of the pain.

Let go of the negatives around it.

Note what was good and how you did it and keep on traveling.

And if there's any other significant person in your life that's no longer there,

Any other loved one,

Have a look at that relationship.

What did you learn from it?

What did it give you?

It could have given you many,

Many things,

But focus on what you learned from it and let all the rest disappear as you keep traveling back,

Traveling back to your first job,

Your first job after you left school.

Were you excited about working in the world?

Did you feel that you're on a life path doing something that you really wanted?

What did you learn from it?

Who are the people around you?

And let it disappear,

That image.

Let it go.

Look at yourself as a teenager.

What was it like when you're a teenager?

What was the relationship with your parents like?

What was it like struggling to create an identity for yourself as an adult?

Look a little bit more closely at your relationship with your parents.

Do you feel love?

Did you feel love?

Look at their lives for a moment.

What was it like for them to be bringing up you as a child,

As an adolescent?

What was their relationship to each other?

See what it was like for them,

Two individuals struggling with their own separate lives,

Struggling with their life together,

With you.

Look at it now from the perspective of an adult.

See how you're all trying to give and get what you needed.

And if there are any negatives around that time,

Any negative emotions,

Let them go.

Just throw them out the window and keep moving back,

Back through time to when you're eight.

What was it like to be a kid?

Were you always out doing things?

Did you have lots of friends to play with?

Or were you alone?

Remember the things that fascinated you.

Remember the things that you took pleasure in.

The things that you wanted to be pleased by and that you struggled to have.

Look at that kid.

How do you relate to him now?

How do you relate to her?

And travel back to your earliest memories.

Just look at them flash up in front of you as you travel back through the past.

And as they flash up in front of you,

Keep the positive,

Keep the positive and let go of the negatives.

The disappointments,

The confusion,

The lack of love,

The frustrations,

Let all those go.

Let them go.

As you throw each one of them out the window,

Feel yourself becoming lighter.

That car that you're traveling in is smoother,

Easier to drive.

It's really floating along.

It's floating along as you throw these burdens from the past out the window.

Let go.

And for the next minute or so,

Continue driving back through the past,

Back to your source and let anything that needs to come up in front of you,

Any memory that wants to,

Just let it come up and then disappear.

You're going back to your source.

And these things are just indications of who you really are.

And now in the distance,

You can see a light.

The light glows and as you travel towards it,

You feel as if you're going home.

You're going with the source and that source is the source of all creativity.

And as you travel towards it,

You have a sense of going home.

You know that you've got there because you've thrown away those things that have burdened you.

Those things from the past that have blocked your energy.

Those emotions that have stifled the life in you.

You've got there because your life is now free of all negative emotion.

And as you travel now towards that source,

You feel that creativity envelop you so that you're surrounded by light.

You're surrounded,

Enveloped,

Secure.

That creativity permeates you.

You can feel the warmth of it in your body.

You can feel the energy running through you.

With this energy,

Take the time now to create whatever it is that you want in the present time or in the future.

Feeling that light around you,

Feeling it flowing through you.

Feel it give you the power to create,

To create your own life the way you want it.

And for the next few minutes,

Build the picture as vividly as you can.

With all the people and the emotions and the things involved,

But most of all,

Create the feeling in you that you will have when this is a reality.

Remember these images.

Remember this feeling and practice using this tape as often as you can until this becomes reality.

And as you go about your daily life,

Remember don't take on negative baggage.

It's what stops the creativity flowing in you.

It's what stops you feeling fully alive.

Keep this feeling with you now,

This feeling that you will have when you have created what it is that you want in your life.

Phenomenal! I feel so free and tapped into my flow. (Because I am a committed recycler/re-user, I had a challenging time imagining releasing burdens (which had mass, in my mind) as I drove down the road so I envisioned them less as trash and more as energy that dissipated upward instead of landing on the Earth ...).
