It is generally believed that using EFT or other self-help techniques can potentially be beneficial in reducing stress and negative emotions and improving overall well-being. If you feel that you are "trying too hard" in various aspects of your life and are not seeing the results you desire, learning about EFT and how to use it may potentially be helpful in finding more effective and efficient ways of approaching these challenges. This 6-day beginner's course is designed to briefly introduce you to the basics of EFT. You will learn about the various EFT points with the meridians, and why they are so important to our emotions and moods. You can learn about how to use EFT to get your life in balance a bit more, reduce stress and live a more balanced, happier life. We'll look at the root feelings of why we try so hard in the first place. You will have the opportunity to learn about an alternate complementary technique to EFT such as combining affirmations and EFT. An attitude of gratitude is also important, and we'll look at journaling our EFT discoveries. We'll move into methods of discreet tapping and have the final guided tapping session for our last meeting. By the end of the course, you will have some tools to help you create positive change in your life with less effort and more ease.

Lição 1
Welcome & Introduction to EFT
This day will be our introduction to EFT. We wil talk about what EFT- emotional freedom technique - is and how it can be useful to us in our daily lives. As a brief introductory summary, EFT (tapping) involves gently tapping with our fingertips on certain various points on our body, whilst expressing verbally our concerns about any single issue which is bothering us. We usually start with the painpoints of the current issue, then gradually move on to what would be a more ideal outlook and rsolution of the situation,whilst loving and acceptig ourselves all the while. This can range from health issues, to things that are causing us stress, to issues of self confidence, to relationships with others, to goals and plans for the day. We will cover the EFT points and close our lesson with a short tapping session for relaxation.
Lição 2
The Tapping Points
On Day 2, we will delve deeper into the tapping points. Why do we tap on those particular sites. It has to do with the meridians and emotions. Each point is connected to certain emotions. Whilst each point doesn't have to be memorised or even well known to achieve results from tapping, - it is not mandatory at all - it's nice to know in a general subconscious way, what is happening as we tap.

Why Do We Try So Hard
Today we address the issue of why do we try so hard? Is it because we feel we are not good enough? Is it the expectations of others? Is it because we feel that we are running out of time? The primary step to stop trying too hard and getting better life results with less effort, is to figure out "why". We'll close out today's lesson with a brief, light tapping session to start getting to the point of 'why' which will include letting go of others' expectations of us. And, you're invited to spend a bit of time after the lesson is over, doing a bit of personalised at-home tapping to truly figure out your own unique reason why. This is a gradual process, so don't be disheartened if there are no immediate concrete answers.
Lição 4
Affirmations and EFT
Today, we will learn about the double energy power of combining affirmations and eft together. Affirmations are short statements that can help us get rid of negative self talk, and some of our self-imposed limitations. They are declarations that we can make to ourselves that are positive, encouraging, and confident. When we can combine these statements with tapping it intensifies the message, and can make it more believable and actionable as we move beyond the barriers which we may have consciously or unconsciously have set up. We will experiment with this technique in a short tapping session. Again, you're invited to spend a bit of time after the lesson is over, doing a bit of personalised at-home tapping and to journal about your experience.

Gratitude and Journaling with EFT
Today, we'll talk about the power of Gratitude & of Journaling our EFT discoveries. EFT tapping can be a journey that changes from one session to the next. We'll talk about ways that we can journal about our experiences and use the knowledge gained to guide us as we move forward.
Lição 6
The Conclusion and Discreet Tapping
Final tapping session - I move forward with ease, for the highest good of myself & everyone else concerned. We'll talk about ways to do tapping anytime and anywhere which includes discreet tapping and mental tapping where point by point tapping is inconvenient. We'll close our studies for this course with a final tapping session which will also include affirmations and gratitude. By our last lesson you can have some tools with which you can continue tapping with your own unique needs and goals in mind, adapting things as you go.
