How To Stop Feeling Poor

Por Douglas Robson

Comece o Dia 1
O que você irá aprender
Rabbi Hyman Schachtel famously said: " Happiness is not having what you want, but having what you have". Easier said than done, but not for long. In this course, I will give you 5 ways to stop feeling inadequate about what you have. Right from episode 1 you'll be putting theory into practice and begin to realise your own abundance.

Lição 1
Enough Is Enough
Enough is a very subjective word, by no means is it self-evident. Due to the vague nature of the word we can spend our lives feeling like we don't have it, and that hurts us. In this episode let me show you have to escape this state of mind.
Lição 2
What You Think You Want
Advertisers know how to pull our strings to buy their things. In this episode, I'll introduce you to your "Diamos" and show you the very strings that are being pulled. Knowing yourself will help you get the upper hand on your desires and feelings of inadequacy.
Lição 3
What You Really Want
In order to really live a fulfilled life we have to take part in its creation. In no way does your ideal life happen by accident. So in this episode, we begin to look at what your "Rich Life" looks like and how you can know when you are there.
Lição 4
How We Want Things
Your brain is a fascinating part of your body. It is where all of your reality takes place, it is where your desires are felt and it's where habits are formed. Learn how the process of your brain makes you want things and how you can get into a habit of spending even when you don't need to. Then learn how you can stop bad habits and form new ones.
Lição 5
How To Stop Wanting And Start Having
"Comparison is the thief of all joy" Theodore Roosevelt. So much of our feeling of inadequacy comes from our comparison to others. Learn about how this mechanism of comparison can keep us down and what we can do to overcome it. I'll also give you a summary of what we have learned so far.

As always, his course brought great insight and awareness. So many things were brought to light and now with this insight and awareness I feel much better. And I love the quote from his mom, "compare and despair". And Apex Fallacy was most assuredly an eye-opener. Amazing course!

Hi Doug! There are many sources that (try to) teach us about "abundance" but I doubted if we really need it, and that's the reason I got into this course. After finishing it, my conclusion is that we need "enoughness" , a sense of balance to enjoy what we have and not desire (o buy) things we don't need just because other people have it or because...

Thanks for such a great course! Really opened my eyes to a lot of things I wasn't that aware of, such as how well off I already am. Logical and practical and easy to understand, very worthwhile and rewarding teachings.
