Welcome,
Radiant Soul,
To the Blooming Spirit Podcast.
My name is Nola Bloom and today I am guiding you through a meditation called Awakening the Tender Heart.
This is a gentle offering for moments when your heart feels sensitive,
Open,
Or quietly guarded.
For times when connection feels close,
Yet tender.
For moments when you long to soften,
Without needing to fix,
Force,
Or figure anything out.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to move gently.
There is wisdom in the pace your heart chooses.
Let this be a space where you don't need to protect yourself.
And you don't need to push yourself to open either.
Just a space to listen,
To feel,
And to meet yourself with kindness.
Let's begin by getting really comfortable.
Now,
Either seated or lying down,
Allow your body to be fully supported.
Close down your eyes and settle the breath.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself arriving more fully in this moment.
Now imagine a soft,
Warm light surrounding your entire body.
This light represents compassion,
Presence,
And a deep sense of safety.
Feel yourself gently cocooned in this glow.
Here,
You are held.
Here,
You are allowed to soften.
As you rest in this light,
You may begin to sense memories,
Patterns,
Or moments when your heart learned to close to protect itself.
There's no need to analyze or revisit the story.
Simply notice what arises and meet it with breath.
Now,
If you sense any tightness in the chest or a subtle guarding around the heart,
Acknowledge it kindly.
These layers are formed for a reason.
They once protected something precious.
You can silently thank them for the role they played,
And gently let them know they are no longer needed in the same way.
Allow the warm light around you to grow a little brighter.
Any heaviness begins to soften,
Not disappear,
But transform.
Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
Imagine a delicate lotus resting there.
A tender bud,
Patient,
Quiet,
And full of potential.
With each breath,
The lotus is nourished.
As you inhale,
Feel a gentle warmth gathering at the heart.
As you exhale,
Allow the petals to soften.
There is no rush for this lotus to open.
It is unfolding in its own perfect time.
As the petals gently unfurl,
You may feel a warmth spreading through your chest,
Or a subtle sense of expansion.
Let this opening be natural.
Let it be honest.
Rest here for a few breaths,
Allowing the heart to be exactly as it is.
Notice if there is warmth,
Softness,
Or perhaps simply a quiet presence.
There is nothing you need to name,
Nothing you need to change.
You may sense the heart like a window letting in fresh air,
Or the feeling of being met from inside.
Stay here,
Witnessing the heart with kindness.
Now allow your awareness to expand beyond the body.
Feel the heart connecting with something vast and supportive.
A field of love that does not demand,
That does not withdraw.
Feel yourself held within this wider presence.
And from this gentle place,
Let's connect with a few affirmations.
You may repeat them inwardly,
Simply listen,
Or voice them out loud.
I allow my heart to soften in its own perfect time.
I meet myself with compassion and patience.
I am open to connection that feels safe,
Grounded,
And true.
Let these words ripple through your body.
You don't need to hold onto them.
Allow them to settle wherever they are needed.
Notice how your heart feels now compared to when you began.
Even the smallest shift matters.
Rest here for a few quiet moments.
Breathing.
Feeling.
Being.
When you're ready,
Bring awareness back to the body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.
And take a few more slow,
Nourishing breaths.
And when it feels right,
Gently opening your eyes.
And carry this tenderness with you.
Not as something fragile,
But as a quiet strength.
Thank you so much for being here,
And for sharing this moment of presence with me.
Namaste.
