Deva Ahvana Suttam Mantra

This is an old Mantra in Pali that I learned from S.N.Goenkas song book. In order to pronounce the words I was taking lessons with a monk who happened to live close to the place where I live. This Mantra is invoking the Deva beings to come and assist and listen during our meditations. I often feel this Mantra in fact invokes our higher self or a highten vibration of consciousness within us to be present and relaxed. It also gives us a feeling of being supported in our practice and life.
