This is a wonderful exercise to calm and relax. Finding the place of peace within through connecting with our physical body. And from there experiencing the beauty of releasing any sound freely. And the sound that comes from within. As we used to when we were children. Just enjoying ourselves creating sound without attaching it to any outcome.

Let's find a comfortable position within.

Again and again we want to connect to the soil,

To the earth below us.

And find within the comfort yet a vertical alignment that happens naturally within ourselves once we dedicate our time to be present with our bodies and with our voices and with our sounds.

We are connecting to the breath,

Sensing the air,

Entering our nostrils,

Being grateful for each breath,

Being grateful for being alive.

Within these exercises we want to discover all the different parts within our bodies which I call the energetic parts of the body for sound to be amplified.

This beautiful exercise is called free toning.

It is very,

Very simple and yet it also has to be practiced.

So what we are going to do is we are going to start to create sounds,

Any sounds that are coming from within.

Can be vowels,

Can be sighs,

Can be humming.

What we try to do is not to do anything.

So we try to just let the sounds emerge from within.

Whenever we find ourselves doing or creating something,

For example we find ourselves within a melody,

We want to let that go again.

We really just simply want to be with the sounds.

The moment we start to create something we are improvising.

So free toning is really all about letting the sounds and the tones come out of our body freely.

So a very good support within that is to just be present within the physical body.

So there are these different portals for this voice work to support the free toning.

So we have the pelvic floor,

Pelvic floor area,

Then the diaphragmatic area,

The area of the chest and the heart,

The neck and the brain.

So if you are sitting on the ground,

It doesn't actually really matter if you are sitting on the ground or on a sofa or on a chair,

Just tune into all these different parts of your body.

And be aware that it is important that you just follow where your awareness is going.

So in the moment we start to sound,

Usually the awareness goes where it wants to go.

So try not to force yourself to think,

Okay now I am going to send my awareness into the pelvic floor.

Rather just be open to where your awareness is settling within each moment.

And be present there.

And then just listen.

Listen if a sound may arise or not.

So part of free toning can also be silence.

So let's try to do this for a couple of minutes.

And of course you can do this exercise,

Like each of the exercises,

Longer.

Like any amount of minutes you would like to practice is welcome.

Ah,

So again,

Let's tune inwards into our physical body.

And when you are ready,

Begin.

Ah I Ah I Ah Ah I I Ah I Ah Ah I Ah Ah Ah Or even more,

Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah Shift within the emotional field.

And then we take a deep breath in.

And out.

So this exercise you can do for 5 to 10 minutes if you wish.
