Hi,

I'm Bassem.

Thank you for joining me.

We're going to be speaking about transits and the role that they play in helping us to lead inwardly guided lives,

Informed lives.

Transits have a profound effect on us and they offer insights that can shape our experiences,

They can guide us,

They can challenge us,

And they present tremendous opportunities for growth and transformation according to the cycles that each planet represents.

So in this talk I want to explain what these transits are,

How they work,

And to introduce you to this formula which offers a fresh perspective on how to time our lives.

In real estate they say everything is location,

Location,

Location.

In life it is timing.

So how to time our lives according to the seasons?

What to expect from ourselves and when?

It's a formula that I believe can revolutionize our approach to living.

So this formula marks quite a departure from the inherited norm that by the age of 21 you should know what to do with your life,

Should have got it all figured out by then,

Or maybe by 33 or 38 you should have it all together.

A problem with these ideas is that for one thing they are entirely unsupported by any factual evidence,

Certainly not supported by astronomical cycles.

There is nothing to say in the sky that at 21 or 25 or 28 or 26 or 31 you should have got it all figured out by then.

Consequently they cause us to feel quite urgent,

Running on this sort of synthetic time and it creates tremendous urgency,

Desperation and frustration and we judge and condemn ourselves for not measuring up to this time scale and not having done it right.

Maybe we're doing it wrong and are missing the proverbial boat.

It's so frustrating and puts us into states of angst,

Particularly if we have passed this time frame.

This formula that I want to introduce you to is an astronomical formula which contests and challenges this nonsense and the truth is there is no damn boat to miss.

If we are to lead inwardly guided fulfilling lives guided by the cycles,

The seasons of the planets,

Jupiter return,

Saturn return,

Uranus opposition,

We must align ourselves with astronomical cycles.

So much tension,

So much pressure can be released.

Planetary transit.

It is what happens when a planet in the sky aligns with a specific point in your natal chart and as they continue moving circumnavigating the sun they connect with the planets in your chart in certain angles.

These are called transit.

So Mercury in the sky now is transiting making an aspect with your Mercury in your chart or Jupiter or the Moon or Saturn,

Uranus,

Neptune,

Pluto,

Venus and so on.

A transit occur when a planet in the sky aligns with a specific point in your natal chart and as it does that it activates the energies that are associated with those planets and with the corresponding area in your chart and that planet becomes active for the time that the transit is there.

Specifically,

We are talking about the cycles of Saturn,

Uranus and Chiron.

This formula suggests that Saturn plus Uranus equals Chiron.

In other words,

Saturn,

Which means structure,

Discipline,

Plus Uranus,

Which is electricity,

Equals Chiron,

Which is healing and inevitably leading to light or purpose.

So what this formula is suggesting is that we do not come into our purpose until Chiron returns.

Structure plus electricity equals light and this light of course that we are referring to is that proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.

This formula suggests that there is a particular time when we come into our purpose.

The first of these cycles is Saturn return.

Now Saturn return happens in our late 20s.

I have never asked this question,

What happened to you at 28 or 29 and someone does not remember?

It's a time when we feel like the carpet is being swept from underneath us.

Every 28 to 30 years,

Saturn,

The planet of testing,

Which governs structure,

Discipline,

Returns to the same position that it occupied in your natal chart at the time of birth,

Marking a period of intense self-reflection,

Growth.

It's a time when we are called to re-evaluate our lives,

Our choices,

What we've done,

Our aspirations and Saturn in this time creates like a scaffolding,

If you will,

Around you forcing you to re-evaluate and to introspect on your choices,

What have you done until now?

The scaffolding is going to be removed and whatever you are must be able to stand on its own two feet.

So Saturn return challenges us to confront responsibilities,

Limitations head on.

I remember my Saturn return,

I was in Miami living at that time and everything shut down.

My finances stopped,

My work stopped,

My friendship stopped,

My girlfriend took off with another guy.

I mean,

I lost my credit cards,

My social security card was revoked all in the same period and I had nowhere to turn.

I could not find relief in anything,

In any way.

That Saturn return,

For those who are initiated,

Who have some wisdom and know about this,

Then they can use this time as a time of tremendous opportunity because Saturn also represents unparalleled opportunity for deep submerging,

Introspecting and setting long-term visions and goals.

The next important cycle is Uranus opposition.

This happens between 38 and 42 and this is a time we refer to as midlife crisis.

The planet Uranus,

Wherever it was at the time that you were born,

Let's say Uranus in Virgo when you were born,

It takes 38 to 42 years to do a half of the circle of the zodiac,

Creates an opposition.

It forces upon us change whether we like it or not.

Now if you have not done the work from 29,

30 since Saturn,

This can feel like a tremendous upheaval,

Change or healing is going to be forced on you.

You often see during Uranus oppositions certain illnesses or men buying new Harley Davidsons,

Divorcing their wives or wives getting all their plastic surgery and reinventing themselves and feeling this tremendous inner angst,

This energy that they are not familiar with and they don't know what to do with it.

So this is a time we typically refer to as midlife crisis.

Unexpected changes will happen in your life,

Specifically in those areas in your chart where Uranus is found.

So if you have it in the 4th house,

Then the upheaval is going to be in your home life.

But if you have it in your 10th house,

The 10th house is professional life.

Or you have it in the 7th house,

Then it's going to happen in your area of relationships because that's what the 7th house represents.

Uranus seeks to bring about a radical shift in your life.

It catalyzes sudden and unexpected changes where suddenly we feel compelled to redefine our priorities,

Our position in life.

We feel that we need to live more authentically.

It's a time of reset is what Uranus opposition represents.

And so here you may work with a healer,

You may work with a coach,

You may work with a mentor who can help you during this time because it is a time of tremendous opportunity.

Finally,

Chiron return,

Which completes this formula.

So Saturn structure matter plus Uranus electricity 3842 equals Chiron return.

Chiron in astrology is what is called the wounded healer.

So wherever your Chiron is found in your natal chart at the time of your birth is where you carry your core wound.

Chiron represents the area that speaks about our wounding where we feel rejected that must be healed,

Signifies the potential for healing and growth.

And that occurs around 50 to 52 offering us an opportunity for inner healing,

Healing that inner child and spiritual awakening,

The light that I was referring to.

So Saturn plus Uranus equals light.

Chiron return invites us to confront unresolved issues from our past,

Allowing us to emerge stronger,

More integrated on our life's journey.

So this revolutionary formula tells us contrary to inherited norms coming to our peak at 50 to 52,

You've lived half of your life crewing wisdom and information and the next phase is about service.

We ripen at 50 to 52.

Now it's time for us to share.

You've lived a life full of learning.

You've learned certain things.

The world needs you.

You're here to teach what you've learned.

So this is about the wisdom that we must embody.

This formula proposes that our true service journey begins at 50 to 52 and onwards 60,

70.

Share of your beauty.

The age of Aquarius is upon us.

Aquarius is ruled by Uranus,

A planet of new vision.

Everything is changing.

Our industries and our civilizations is changing.

The dawning season of consciousness is compelling us to outgrow our leaves.

So this revolutionary formula tells us you don't reach your peak until 50 to 52 and you don't get to check out.

What I mean check out is retirement.

Instead of preparing for retirement we should be preparing to become the teachers of the dawning age.

Sharing our wisdom,

Our insights,

Our learnings.

It doesn't matter if it's about money.

It doesn't matter if it's about sex.

It doesn't matter if it's.

Bark if you have to like I'm barking right now.

Share what you've what's cultivated over the first season of your life.

Those who are hearing this for the first time and you're moving towards 50 to 52 instead of preparing for retirement.

Set up structures where you can begin to share.

Work with others.

Join communities that can support you.

Somebody asked me what's my secret of aging gracefully.

I suddenly realized thinking I'm teaching meditation instead what I'm actually delivering is this sense of enthusiasm and excitement about life.

Illness is a psychosomatic.

Anger,

Frustration,

Unhappiness,

Unhealed wounds,

Embarrassment,

Disappointment,

Shame,

Guilt of childhood.

Product of urgency,

Frustration and fear and the idea that you are a body mind.

The only ideas that you should be supporting is beauty and divinity.

When you give up identification with the body mind the suffering goes.

You are a spirit having a physical experience.

That is not an idea.

How many people are in this age category and are miserable?

We're spirits.

There's beauty at every age.

So look within.

Think in accordance with spirit not with the lower astral.
