Therapy is about addressing the wounds.
Life coaching says,
You know what?
I'm over the wounds.
Let me just take a look.
Let me put my sight forward and see where do I want to go?
What do I want in my life?
So coaching is about setting goals and life visions and seeing where I want to go.
It's looking at the future.
Therapy is about looking at the past.
If all you do is spend your time analyzing the shadow,
Then all you get is shadow because it's endless.
Your body is 16.
4 billion years old.
Within your body is contained,
Within your cells is contained the memory of being devoured by dinosaurs.
There's no end.
Healing is necessary in order to move forward,
To fly,
But we must at some point turn our back on it and say,
Okay,
What is my possibility?
What do I want to do in my life?
What do I want my life to add up to?
What do I want my life to be all about?
What am I going to use in order to bring about this life that I would like to live in?
What skills do I have to develop?
What must I let go of?
