During this precious 20 minutes meditation.
Be fully absorbed.
In body posture.
And breath.
There's nowhere to go.
There's nothing to do right now.
There's no one to pretend.
This is.
.
.
Privileged time.
To come home.
To who we really are.
To reconnect with our true nature.
Put all your attention in the body posture.
While the back is straight and strong.
The front is soft and flexible.
Let go of all unnecessary tensions.
Especially in the face.
Muscles in the shoulders.
In the chest.
In the belly.
Let your posture be.
Fully alive.
That also means that.
.
.
Slightly make micro movements.
To adjust and find the natural toners.
Of your body.
Breathing in and out naturally through the nose.
Without being concerned.
About your breathing.
Whether it is short.
Just stay tuned with this flow of air.
This breath of life.
At the beginning it's good to breathe in a few times deeply in and out.
And then.
.
.
Especially focus on them.
Out-breath.
Let it be profound.
Breathe out until there's no air left in the lungs.
Before taking in a new in-breath.
We are good in breadth.
We are not necessarily.
Very good in outbreaths.
It is in the letting go.
That we can find renewal.
Leadership.
Starts with self-leadership.
And to lead ourselves.
We need to let go of all unnecessary things.
Or anger.
Our grief.
Our fear.
Agreed.
They are produced by ego.
By our mental functioning.
And however important that is.
The organizations and companies that we work in.
We need to plan.
To execute.
To evaluate monitor Now is the privileged time.
To move out of this mental space.
Into embodied presence.
Just this body.
And just this bread.
The body is always here.
The breath is always in the present moment.
Focusing on posture and breath.
On the here and now.
Is focusing on reality as it is.
And by being completely attuned with this living reality of the present moment.
We allow for magic to happen.
When.
Shortly after his Enlightenment experience,
The Buddha.
Buddha Shakyamuni,
The historical Buddha,
Came out of the woods.
To join his friends again.
His friends were very surprised.
They saw a man coming out of the woods.
That they didn't recognize as their friends.
He was kind of radiating.
And in wonder they asked,
Who are you?
Are you a man?
Are you a saint?
Are you a deity?
The Buddha responded in one simple word.
Awake.
The literal meaning of Buddha.
Being fully awake.
So they were baffled.
And they asked him more.
So what did you gain from this enlightenment experience?
And Buddha answered.
I haven't gained anything.
But I have lost quite a bit.
I've lost my anger.
I've lost my grief.
I've lost my fears.
And I've lost my desires.
Master Kudusalaki says.
Meditation.
Practicing meditation.
Is learning to lose.
It is learning.
To let go.
Of all these.
Unnecessary things.
The things that stand in the way.
Of a harmonious world for all.
Our greed.
Our anger.
And here's the magic.
When we let go of greed,
Anger,
Of preferences,
Choices.
We create space.
For others to step in.
And while we are leading ourselves.
We are holding space for our colleagues to grow.
That is the magic of meditation.
It is so simple that the ego cannot understand it.
Yet.
We can realize it.
At any given moment.
Simply by making a step backwards.
Inwards.
And focusing our attention.
On this.
Present moment.
In embodied awareness.
Just this posture.
Just this breath.
Wow,
I didn't expect so many people here.
The other years it was in the plenary and we were much fewer people.
Hmm.
Alright,
As we slowly come back.
Directing our attention again to the outside world,
Which we will need to do today.
Talking with others,
Being inspired.
Um.
.
.
Just invite you to do this in a slow way.
Kind of a slow and Yeah,
And if you want to,
Maybe you feel like stretching.
Please do.
Ugh.
Mmm.
So this transition time is also really important.
More and more companies are integrating.
Meditative practices into their processes and leaders who do create in the morning.
Albeit timed.
Five mindful breaths.
Just a few minutes sitting.
Turning the gaze inward.
And focusing on that what we've been doing.
Just being fully present.
They are recognized for their leadership.
They feel better leaders.
They are less stressed.
They create more healthy boundaries around their personal stuff and what belongs to the organization.
And well,
I applaud you for being here and having this precious moment this morning.
