The response of radical presence. Embodied awareness. In this embodiment, we are not cutting off from these thoughts and emotions, but we are just holding space for them, while observing them, and letting go of them, without getting entangled in them. Free from them.

So,

Lay all your attention in the body posture,

Tilt the pelvis forward so that the body mass is well rooted on the ground.

Straighten the back and tuck in the chin slightly so that the top of the head touches above the clouds.

Relax the face,

Relax the shoulders,

Relax the chest and relax the belly.

Breathe in and out naturally.

When doing sitting,

Like we do here,

We lay all our energy in focusing on these aspects that constitute our being.

A sitting body,

A soothing breath,

A calming heartbeat.

We become fully present.

Cultivating mindfulness is not about learning to master a particular technique.

Already the aspiration of making time for stillness is realization.

It's about being fully present,

Being there enough to realize,

To become aware of how the conditioned mental system keeps naming and talking and thus cutting itself off from a directly lived experience.

Awareness of this is important to allow for another type of response.

A response in the sense of not reacting against the fact of thought,

The fact of emotion,

But simply giving a different response.

The response of radical presence,

Embodied awareness.

And in this embodiment we are not cutting off from these thoughts and emotions,

But we are just holding space for them while observing them and letting go without getting entangled in them,

Free from them.
