The sun is gently cascading over the mountains.
Today is here.
But before we open our eyes and jump out of our beds,
Let's take a moment to hear from God to get in touch with the inner parts of our heart.
I'm going to read a verse to you.
I want you to listen.
First,
Just listen.
Oh,
That you would rend the heavens and come down,
That the mountains might quake at your presence.
Let's take just a moment to meditate on these words.
Whether God brings to mind a vision of the mountains,
His greatness.
Just think about God.
I'll repeat it again.
Oh,
That you would rend the heavens and come down,
That the mountains might quake at your presence.
And I'm just going to say a prayer over you today.
I pray that you would receive it.
I pray that you would hear it.
I pray that it would resonate with your heart.
Heavenly Father,
We just come to you today.
We thank you that you are with us,
That you hear our prayers.
I pray that the ears that are open to hear you today,
That you would speak to us,
Lord.
Speak to us.
Give us your wisdom that only you can give us.
Protect us from the worldly wisdom,
What society tells us,
What our own mind,
What our own ideas tell us.
And we pray,
God,
That your ideas,
That your greatness would reign in our lives,
That it would be greater than our own thoughts and our own minds.
Your ways are higher than our ways.
Your thoughts are higher than ours as well.
We ask God that we would meditate on that today,
That we would be encouraged that you love us,
That you have plans for good and not to harm us.
So if we put our trust in you and we trust that you have good plans for us and that your ways are better than our own,
What more is there to do,
Lord?
I just pray that we would trust you more today than we have yesterday,
Than we have even when we just woke up.
Increase our trust in you,
God.
We pray,
Father,
That you would enliven us.
Give us a hope and an excitement for you.
We pray that your will would be done,
That there is no fear in just trusting you,
In believing in you,
In knowing that you are good.
We thank you for this day.
We thank you for everything you've given us.
Even if sometimes it feels like we are lacking or we want more or we need more,
I pray and I proclaim,
God,
That you have given us amazing blessings.
May we acknowledge those blessings.
May we remember everything you have done for us in the past and to where we are now and that you do have plans for our future,
Good plans.
We acknowledge that,
God.
We acknowledge how much you love us,
That in you there is no height nor depth nor angel or demon or any principalities or powers that can separate us from you.
We are connected with you.
We are sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Thank you,
God.
Thank you for loving us so much to die for us.
We walk in that truth today.
We walk in that power today.
Thank you,
Lord.

I hope that that prayer resonated with you and built you up today.
I ask that God would continue to encourage you,
Bring people into your life today that would speak truth over you and just show you more of Him.
And I pray that you would be able to do that for others as well.
