I'm going to open us up first in prayer and ask that God would speak to us today.

Heavenly Father,

We come to you.

We thank you for this day.

Please speak to us as we open up our hearts and our ears to hear more of you,

Fill us up with your Spirit,

And give us more of you.

It's in your name that we pray.

Amen.

I'm going to read a verse to you and I want you first just to listen.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Romans 8 37.

What a beautiful truth that is.

That in Christ we can overcome.

We are victorious.

We have the ability to be empowered by Him because He loved us.

So whether we are sick,

Whether we are just coping with difficulty in any situation,

We continue to cry out to God to help us,

To empower us.

If you have had a hard time calling out to God and trusting Him,

I encourage you today,

Call out to Him.

Even if you've been asking,

Why me?

Why does this feel so hard?

Why do my circumstances not feel like they match up with the goodness of who you are?

I ask you and I urge you to just simply call on Him,

Invite Him into your heart.

Even if you don't trust Him,

Ask Him to increase your trust.

Let's invite God into our hearts,

Into our struggles,

So that we can be triumphant,

So that we can be conquerors.

Let us remember today,

No matter if we are sick,

In pain,

Confused,

Hurt by a loved one,

In all these things,

We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

May that be our truth today.

Amen.
