Welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome.
Thank you for being here.
Going to invite everybody to close your eyes,
Place both your hands over your heart,
And start taking some beautiful nourishing breaths.
Breathing into your heart.
As we arrive here into our bodies.
Arrive here into this space.
Arrive here ready for our ceremony.
Beautiful Goddess,
Walk beside me as I open my heart,
Guide my words,
Steady my spirit,
And let this gathering be filled with kindness,
Wisdom,
And grace.
May the light shine gently within me,
A quiet flame that cannot be dimmed.
May love be my compass,
Peace be my path.
And compassion be the gift I offer the world.
May the universe surround us all with love and light.
Wrapping us in a circle of peace.
May we feel supported,
Held and loved.
And safe to simply be ourselves.
I invite you to breathe in that energy.
Breathe in that light,
Feeling it wrapping around you like a warm blanket.
Breathing that love into your heart.
That protection.
Nice deep nourishing breaths into your heart.
Feeling that light,
Connecting us here in this space together.
And when you are ready,
I invite you to hold your cacao.
Holding it so that you feel the warmth in your fingers.
Smelling its beautiful aroma.
Perhaps even placing it against your chest,
So that you feel the warmth in your heart.
With deep gratitude we honour Mama Cacao and the sacred medicine she so generously offers.
We give thanks to the wisdom keepers,
The ancestors and the traditional custodians of the lands where this cacao first grew.
We honour the farmers and families whose hands lovingly planted,
Nurtured,
Harvested and shared this gift with the world.
We sank the rich earth that held Mama Cacao's roots,
The rain that nourished her.
The sun that warmed her,
And the winds that carried her to our cups tonight.
As we receive this cacao,
May we do so with deep respect and open hearts.
So that we can shift from asking ourselves,
How can I get more done?
In two.
Who do I want to be when I do it?
With Mama Cacao as our guide,
As our support.
Tonight,
We take our first three sips together.
Three intentional sips.
Three invitations to pause so that we can connect deeper within to explore the difference between avoidance and intentional rest.
With our first sip together,
We take a moment to recognise that we need a pause.
A break.
Have rest.
An intentional rest,
Not a mindless distraction,
A pause to fill our cups.
We sip as we return to ourself.
As that first sip gently moves through your body.
Breathe into its warmth and remember.
You don't need another to-do list.
You don't need to doom scroll.
What you need is a mindful pause.
Let's take a small moment now to see yourself soaking up the sunshine.
Or curled up with a good book.
Drawing,
Painting,
Tending to the garden.
Taking a slow walk.
Or simply sitting with a warm cup between your hands and breathing.
As we stay with that energy.
Me prepare to take our second sit together.
And in that moment of pause,
We gain clarity.
Knowing that not every pause is a delay.
Sometimes it's a necessary part of the journey.
Reconnecting to ourselves,
Our bodies,
Our needs.
We sip and make space for clarity.
And as that sip enters your body,
Notice how you feel after you've honored what your body needed.
Off to that wall.
Quiet moment in the garden.
A good book.
A kick cow.
An intentional pause.
Feeling rested,
Restored and ready to return.
With our third sip together,
We return to action.
With a newfound sense of presence.
With a full cup,
A clear mind.
And feeling beautifully restored mind,
Body and soul.
We sip to returning with presence.
And as that sip settles within you.
Notice that every time you intentionally move towards yourself,
You also move closer to what matters.
You become the version of yourself that meets life with presence instead of depletion.
Continue to sip your cacao,
Trusting that rest is not the opposite of progress.
Sometimes it is the path that leads us there.
I'm tired Overwhelmed,
Can't think straight So much to do So much on my plate I need a pause Yet what they see Is procrastination or lazy me?
I am not lazy,
I'm choosing me Returning to my body Returning to me A moment to breathe,
To truly rest So I can return as my very best My well-being means much more Than crossing off another chore So I choose me,
My embodied soul To create or nap,
Not doom scroll I'm mindful with the things I do That help me return,
Restore,
Renew Ooh.
You I'm not lazy,
I'm filling my cup Gathering the pieces that hold me up Returning to my body Returning to me So I choose me,
Mind,
Body,
Soul To create our nap,
Not doom's roll For when my cup is full once more I meet my life with strength restore I don't pause to escape the day I pause so I can find my way I'm not lazy,
I'm choosing me Returning to my body,
Returning to me Returning to me as the song fades.
Let tonight be your reminder that returning to yourself is never time wasted.
Taking a nice,
Beautiful,
Deep breath,
Hand on your heart as you say to yourself,
I notice what I need.
I honor what I need.
I return renewed.
I notice what I need.
I honour what I need.
I return renewed.
Mama Cacao reminds us that nature never rushes.
The seasons rest.
The moon wanes.
Even our breath knows that with every inhale,
There's also an exhale.
Starting today.
May you honour your own rhythm.
And recognise when your soul needs stillness.
May you allow yourself a moment to pause.
Breathe.
And honour your needs by choosing intentional rest over mindless procrastination.
Because every mindful moment of rest plants the seeds for the energy,
The creativity and the presence that you'll need tomorrow.
Thank you,
And blessed be.
