Cacao Ceremony Opening

This mini Cacao Ceremony is designed as either a prelude for your own ritual or as a smaller ceremony if you are short on time, but still wish to respect the scared medicine of Mama Cacao. It includes an opening blessing to pay respect and reverence to Mama Cacao before invoking the elements as part of the ritual.

Have your cacao ready to start straight away and we recommend following up this track with ambient music so you can connect within for your own personal meditation experience. Thank you Mum and Cacao for your divine gift that we're about to receive.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners,

Farmers and Ancestors of the sacred lands from which you came,

And the lands on which we all now stand.

We pay respect to the Elders,

Past,

Present and emerging.

With this cup of cacao we open and connect to the wisdom of our hearts.

We take this moment to gather together for love,

For wisdom and for healing,

So that we can acknowledge our lessons,

So that we can reclaim our power,

And so we can grow in this beautiful journey of life,

Free from limiting beliefs and happy in the now.

Dear Mum and Cacao,

Please join us in this ritual.

As we take our first sip together,

May you grant us the power of earth to support us,

To ground us and to connect us with deep healthy roots to your beautiful golden core,

For the power of earth.

With our next sip,

Please Mum and Cacao,

Grant us the power of air to breathe nourishing life into us,

So that we can inhale peace and exhale chaos,

For the power of air.

With our next sip,

Please Mum and Cacao,

Grant us the power of fire to ignite our passions and creativity,

To burn those bridges that no longer serve us to cross and to stoke the flames within,

So that no one can put them out,

For the power of fire.

With our next sip,

Please Mum and Cacao,

Grant us the power of water to freely feel the ebb and flow of our true emotions,

Giving ourselves permission to feel those emotions,

So we can cleanse ourselves with the tears that we shed,

For the power of water.

With our next sip,

Please Mum and Cacao,

Grant us the power of spirit to listen to the whispers of wisdom from our higher self,

To know and trust our intuition and to connect the universal energies that love us and support us,

For the power of spirit.

With these powers of earth,

Air,

Fire,
