Think about a person who you're easily triggered by or may be mad at right now.
Does anybody have a person that they're mad at right now?
So I want you to think about that person.
And by the way,
You will get better and better at this.
The more you can feel your own body,
Practices like yoga nidra and other embodiment exercises are really good because you can hone your attuned,
Nuanced attention to various parts of your body,
And it makes it easier to do this exercise.
But you can for now close your eyes,
And however you're sitting,
Just tune in with the bottom of your spine,
The backs of your thighs to send a message to your body that you're here.
You notice if your body just comes immediately online or if it takes a minute or if you can't really feel the backs of your thighs.
And then bring your attention to the actual muscle of your heart ever so slightly to the left of the middle of your ribcage,
And take some time to explore it,
The space that it takes up in your chest cavity until you have a mind's eye view of the organ itself.
And then with your mind's eye,
Watch as you increase your heart's energy and the space that it takes up to two times its size.
And then as it comes out of your chest,
Because it's taking up lots of space,
Watch as it increases to three times its size.
Maybe for you,
It has a color or it has a certain luminescence around it.
And watch as it expands to four and then five times its size,
Sitting in front of your chest,
Gathering light energy.
And then I want you to think of the person that you're mad at.
And imagine they're sitting on the other side of the room or wherever they are in the world.
Maybe they're in the same city as you.
Maybe they're on the opposite side of the country.
Maybe they're on the other side of the world.
And as you see them standing there,
Put your attention back on the love energy from your heart radiating in front of your chest.
The next step is to watch that ball of bright love energy beam from your chest in the direction of the person that you are upset with right now.
It's not unlike a Care Bear stare,
For those of you who are familiar with Care Bears.
And you're going to watch and guide that heart energy that you have cultivated in five times the size of your own heart as that beams into the chest of the person that you are thinking of.
And watch it until it's gone all the way in.
And once it's entered into the chest of the other person,
You can put your attention back on your own chest again.
And notice as you expand that heart energy again inside of your own chest.
It's an infinite source.
You can always refill and watch as it expands again in your chest.
Notice any differences in your body as you've done this exercise.
And if you don't feel clear yet,
You can do it again.
