You Now I'm going to take you into meditation Before beginning meditation you need to find a quiet place where you can sit and be undisturbed Please do not do this meditation whilst driving Turn off the phone and give yourself this time to relax Maybe light a candle,

Make this a time for you to nourish yourself First I'm going to take you into deep relaxation followed by the meditation to embrace the light Take a moment now to sit comfortably or lie down with your spine straight allowing the energy to flow easily through you If you are sitting put your feet flat on the floor and your hands open on your knees and lightly close your eyes First bring your awareness to your breathing,

Inhaling slowly and deeply into your abdomen and on the out breath letting go Now take your breath down into your feet,

Right into your toes and feel them relax Inhale the breath up through your calves,

Shins through your knees and thighs On each out breath feel yourself letting go even more Now breathe into your hips,

Pelvis and lower back letting go of any strain Feel the breath flowing freely into your abdomen Through all your internal organs,

Relaxing and releasing all tension Breathing slowly in and out The breath is now flowing up the spine Relaxing each vertebra one by one Now the breath flows into your chest,

Across your shoulders,

Down your arms Into your hands and fingers Sense them relaxing and letting go Breathe into the neck area where there may be any tension Allowing all the muscles to soften and let go It is now flowing into your jaw,

Softening and relaxing it Feel it flowing into your face and head,

Up into your scalp,

Releasing any tension You are feeling deeply relaxed and totally safe Surrounded by a circle of protection,

Love and light When I bring you out of this relaxed state at the end of the meditation you will be alert,

Energised and refreshed Now begin to imagine roots spreading out from under the soles of your feet Deep down into the earth,

Grounding and anchoring you In your inner mind,

Visualise a star of pure white light shining brightly above your head As you inhale,

Draw this pulsating stream of light down into your crown Releasing any unwanted thoughts on the out-breath See them being dissolved in the light This column of pulsating light travels down to the centre of your body Radiating outwards to fill your arms and legs,

Right down to your feet See in your mind the light flowing into any area of the body where there is tension of any kind Feel every muscle,

Fibre,

Cell and particle of your being,

Cleansed,

Re-energised,

Healed and recharged Restoring your cells in abundance Your body is absorbing this vibrant light energy in the perfect way You are now being saturated with a boundless supply of infinite life-giving energy Take time now to bathe in this light Feel the presence of the divine light washing over and through you,

Nourishing and uplifting you Breathing in more and more of the light,

Expanding the light out through your skin until it completely envelops you You are now totally embraced by light Allow the life force to fully enter your body Feel the inner core of your being calm and relaxed and let your mind gently float inwards Now take a few moments to receive what your higher consciousness has to share with you Breathing in more and more of the light,

Expanding the light energy in your body you you you you you you you you you you you you you you give thanks now for everything you have received today bring your awareness back into your body feel your feet firmly on the ground connected to the earth rub your feet on the ground stretch your body and bring your attention back into your surroundings being aware of the sounds around you when you are ready gently open your eyes you are now alert energised and refreshed
