Transcript

Before beginning this meditation,

You need to find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for about half an hour.

Please do not do this meditation whilst driving.

Turn off the phone and give yourself this time to relax.

Maybe light a candle and make this a time to nourish yourself.

Take a moment now to sit comfortably or lie down with your spine straight,

Allowing the energy to flow easily through you.

If you are sitting,

Put your feet flat on the floor and your hands open on your knees and lightly close your eyes.

Throughout this guided inner journey,

There will be times where the music alone will help you go into the experience more deeply.

Allow yourself to receive all that is for your highest good.

I am going to take you now to meet your guardian angel,

Who will take you on a journey of self-discovery and help you release anything that may be preventing you from totally being at peace.

First,

Become aware of your breathing,

Inhaling slowly and deeply into your breath.

First become aware of your breathing,

Inhaling slowly and deeply into your abdomen and on the out-breath,

Letting go.

Now take your attention down into your feet,

Right into your toes and feel them relax.

Visualise your breath flowing into your calves,

Knees and thighs.

On each out-breath,

Letting go even more,

Softening and relaxing them.

Draw the breath into your hips and pelvis,

Flowing freely into your abdomen,

Relaxing and releasing any tension as you exhale.

Now see it flowing into your lower back and up the spine,

Relaxing each vertebra,

One by one.

Your breath is flowing freely into your chest.

Expanding your lungs across your shoulders and down your arms into your hands and fingers.

Sense them relaxing and letting go.

Breathe into your neck,

Up into your jaw,

Softening all the muscles.

Feel it flowing into your face,

Your head and up into your scalp,

Releasing any tension.

You are now deeply relaxed.

Visualise yourself surrounded by a circle of protection,

Love and light.

You are totally safe.

When I bring you out of this relaxed state at the end of the meditation,

You will be alert,

Energised and refreshed.

Imagine now that you are in a beautiful forest.

The sun feels warm on your body and you feel totally at ease.

Time has stood still,

Allowing you to pause a while and take in all of the beauty of nature.

You can hear the friendly chatter of birds singing high up in the trees and the sun is glistening through the leaves,

Leaving a dappled path ahead of you.

There are tiny flowers trailing here and there,

Weaving in and out of the undergrowth.

The ground is covered in a soft carpet of leaves as you walk slowly along the path.

You are feeling so peaceful,

Grounded and deeply relaxed.

Branches are swaying gently in the warm breeze,

Beckoning you to explore further.

The sunlight is becoming stronger ahead of you.

The light is drawing you closer and you now become aware of the sound of the ocean.

As you reach the clearing,

A secluded white sandy beach stretches out ahead of you.

There are palm trees softly rustling in the breeze and the sun is shining and sparkling on the vibrant blues of the ocean and the gentle waves are lapping on the shore.

The warm breeze caresses your face and you are feeling deeply relaxed.

Your footprints leave a gentle tracing as you walk down the beach along the water's edge,

Feeling the warm soft white sand beneath your feet.

A gentle ripple of the waves breaks on the shore and you now become aware of a radiant light further down the beach.

You sense a feeling of warmth and familiarity as it moves gently towards you,

Almost floating just above the sand.

As the light comes closer,

You see that it is the most beautiful angel,

Surrounded by a radiant golden glow of light that permeates everything around you.

You feel so tranquil in its presence.

The angel smiles at you and welcomes you by your name.

It tells you that it is your guardian angel and is always close to you,

Guiding and protecting you.

All you need do is call upon its presence at any time.

If this is the first time connecting with your guardian angel,

You may like to ask their name.

Whatever comes to you,

Either through words,

Feelings or in any other way,

Is perfect for you.

With its wings outstretched towards you,

It feels so natural for you to move into your angel's embrace,

And folded by the magnificent wings enveloping you in unconditional love,

You feel a deep stirring within you.

You feel your heart expanding and the love transferring between you,

And you feel totally protected and safe.

Breathe deeply and take a minute now to fully experience the love that is flowing between you.

Now the angel steps aside and tells you that it has come here today to help you release anything that no longer serves you.

The angel picks up a small piece of driftwood and hands it to you,

Encouraging you to write or draw in the sand whatever your inner guidance inspires you to do.

Take your time and be as creative and detailed as you want to be,

For only you know deep within you what is perfect to let go of at this time.

Come.

Now you step back and look at your creation in the sand.

You have drawn that which no longer supports you and you are ready now to release it.

Your angel takes you by the hand and leads you gently to the water's edge.

The warm water gently lapping over your feet.

You begin to feel the rhythm of the ocean flowing in and out.

Inhaling the breath on the incoming wave and exhaling as the wave recedes.

Drawing the breath deep into your stomach and on the out breath letting go.

Breathing in with the wave and out as the wave retreats.

You are expanding your breath filling you with life-giving energy nourishing and strengthening you in the perfect way.

Your angel is lovingly standing beside you and you feel totally at peace.

You turn for a moment and look behind you and watch as the gentle waves flow over your creation in the sand washing all of it away.

All has been released wiped clean and now the white sand glistens afresh once more.

You feel ready now to cleanse and refresh your physical body.

You give the angel your clothes and step into the clear blue warm water.

The rhythm of the ocean embraces you and you feel the water gently flowing over you caressing your body and you move freely with no limitations.

Your body is being filled with the pure vibrant energy of the ocean.

It is being recharged and revitalized.

All of your cells are being harmonized and energized.

Your whole being is becoming one with the ocean.

There is no separation.

You are now immersed in this divine energy and you feel at one with the source.

Take time now to feel the vitalizing life force flowing through you.

Everything will be well in hand.

Gradually you become aware that the gentle lapping of the waves has brought you back to the beach and your guardian angel is waiting for you,

Delighted with all that you have released.

The beach is washed clean and your mind is clear and refreshed.

Your body is renewed and strengthened as the sun warms and dries you.

The angel hands you a beautiful garment to wear and tells you that you may return here at any time.

You have created your own sanctuary that only you and your guardian angel can access.

Once again you feel the warm sand beneath your feet and your angel walks beside you back to the forest.

As you embrace each other you feel immense gratitude to your guardian angel.

You turn and look one final time at your own sanctuary and know that you will return again with joy.

Give thanks now for everything you have received today.

Slowly bring your awareness back into your body.

Feel your feet firmly on the ground connected to the earth.

Rub your feet on the ground.

Stretch your body and bring your attention back into your surroundings being aware of the sounds around you.

And when you are ready gently open your eyes.

You are now alert,

Energized and refreshed.
