Welcome to this yoga nidra crystal meditation.
I'll take you through a guided visualization using your favorite crystals,
Stones,
Or gems.
You might choose smooth pebbles from the side of the river,
Or you can use clear crystals like quartz,
Or you can use ones that have a glow in the light like labradorite or moonstone,
Or you can use precious gems like diamonds or rubies.
As we get started,
Please get really comfortable.
You can lie down on your back or be in whatever position feels good for your body.
Are there any adjustments you could make to feel even more comfortable?
Maybe shifting your shoulders or your hips,
Whatever you feel your body needs right now.
And start to notice your breath.
As you inhale,
Feel the sensation of the breath in your nostrils.
The breath touches the back of your throat and continues down your throat,
Expanding your rib cage and your belly.
And as you exhale,
Your belly falls.
You may invite a sigh.
And counting down from 10 to 0.
Inhale 10.
Exhale 10.
Inhale 9.
Exhale 9.
Inhale 8.
Exhale 8.
And continue at your own pace.
And releasing the counting now,
I will guide you through a body scan.
You can choose any crystal or stone that you love and admire.
I will name a series of points of your body,
And as I name each body part,
You can place the stone there.
You can use all the same crystals,
Or you can use different ones,
And you can change the type of stone at any time in this meditation.
Just letting your awareness scan through your body and placing a crystal at each point.
Start with the crystal on the middle of your forehead,
The crown of your head,
Your right eyebrow,
Your left eyebrow,
The space between your eyebrows,
Your right cheek,
Your left cheek,
The tip of your nose,
Your lips,
The space between your nose and your upper lip,
Your right ear,
Your left ear,
Your chin,
Your throat,
Your right collarbone,
Your left collarbone,
Both of your shoulders simultaneously,
Both upper arms,
Both elbows,
Both wrists,
The palms of both of your hands,
The backs of both of your hands,
All ten fingertips,
The left side of your chest,
The right side of your chest,
Your heart,
Your navel,
Both of your hips simultaneously,
Both thighs,
Both knees,
Both ankles,
The soles of your feet,
The tops of your feet,
All ten toes.
Notice all of these crystals you've just placed,
Shimmering,
Glittering,
And glowing,
And saturating your body with their radiance.
Now,
Holding a large crystal in your right hand,
Notice its color,
Its shape,
Its contours.
Notice how it feels so heavy in your hand,
Weighing down your right arm.
And notice how the right side of your body feels heavy compared to your left side.
And now,
Hold a large crystal in your left hand.
Notice how it sparkles and shines,
And enjoy its qualities.
Feel how heavy it is in your left hand,
Weighing down your left arm,
And the left side of your body.
Your left side feels heavy,
And your right side feels light.
As you inhale,
Your right side feels heavy,
And your left side feels light.
As you exhale,
Your left side feels heavy,
And your right side feels light.
Inhaling,
Right side is heavy,
Left side is light.
Exhaling,
Left side is heavy,
Right side is light.
Now,
Visualize yourself walking along a stone path,
Admiring the different stones that make up the path.
As you walk,
The stones are leading the way,
And some are also scattered along the sides of the path.
You reach a set of stone stairs,
Made out of your favorite stones.
And walking up the stairs,
You realize you are at the top of a mountain.
And over to the side,
There is a cave.
You enter the cave,
Which is completely covered in crystals of all different colors,
Sizes,
And shapes.
Taking some time to admire their beauty,
And feeling the sensations of your body while you're in this crystal cave,
This space of wonder.
There's a large bowl of crystals.
You can pick them up,
Observing their sparkle,
Their edges,
Or smoothness,
And feeling their temperature,
Warm or cold.
You can choose your favorite one to keep with you.
You can keep it in your hand,
Or place it over your head.
Or on the center of your forehead.
And feeling gratitude as you leave the cave,
And coming back down the stone stairs.
And now counting back up.
Inhale one,
Exhale one.
Inhale two,
Exhale two.
And continue until you reach five.
Feeling the surface beneath you,
And start to visualize the space you're in,
The corners of the room.
Keeping your eyes closed,
As you wiggle your toes and your fingers,
Maybe welcoming a stretch.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today,
And I hope you have a wonderful day.
