I invite you to get comfortable and take a deep breath in and out,

Now gently close your eyes,

Think of a person who cares deeply for you,

It could be someone who is still alive or someone who has passed,

Maybe it's your mother,

Father,

Her partner,

Or an old friend.

Imagine that person sitting or standing in front of you,

Look deeply at them and imagine that they are sending you all their love and compassion right from the depths of their heart into your very being.

What kind of loving words would they say to you in this moment?

Now think of a few more people who care deeply for you,

And imagine these friends and family standing all around you.

Bask in the radiance of their loving kindness which tenderly envelops you from all sides.

Finally,

Bring awareness to your own heart,

And imagine that you may want to place your hand on your heart,

You may want to offer your heart some kind words,

Or you may want to continue bringing your presence and awareness to it.

Whatever you choose,

Offer your heart all the warmth,

Love and compassion that it needs.

I am loved,

I am safe,

I am home.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.
