Welcome.
This is a moment for you.
A moment to pause.
To breathe.
And to gently return to yourself.
Find a comfortable position.
Either sitting or lying down.
Allow your hands to rest somewhere that feels natural.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And softly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in.
And letting it go.
One more time.
Taking in a full nourishing breath.
And releasing anything you no longer need to carry.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
There's nowhere else you need to be right now.
A thing you need to accomplish.
Nothing you need to fix.
For these next few moments,
You have permission to simply be.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice where your body is being supported beneath you.
Let yourself become a little heavier.
Allowing the surface below you to hold you completely.
Soften the space between your eyebrows.
Relax your jaw.
Let your shoulders gently drop away from your ears.
Soften your hands,
Your belly,
Your hips,
Your legs,
All the way down to your feet.
With every exhale,
Allow your body to release a little more.
And sometimes we spend so much of our energy caring for others,
Meeting expectations.
And moving from one responsibility to the next.
That we forget to offer that same care to ourselves.
But right now.
You are choosing to pause.
You are choosing to listen.
You are choosing to care for yourself.
And that choice matters.
Gently place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly.
Feel the warmth of your own touch.
Feel the quiet rise and fall of your breath.
There is nothing you need to prove in this moment.
You are worthy of care simply because you are here.
You are worthy of rest.
You are worthy of tenderness.
You are worthy of your own love.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you exhale.
Imagine releasing the pressure to be everything for everyone.
Breathing in.
Receive calm.
Breathing out.
Release responsibility just for now.
Breathing in.
Receive kindness.
Breathing out,
Let go of anything that feels happy.
Now imagine a soft,
Warm light glowing within the center of your heart.
With each breath,
This light grows a little brighter.
It begins to gently surround your heart,
Your shoulders,
Your entire body.
This light is peaceful.
It is nurturing.
It has nothing from you.
It simply surrounds you with warmth.
And remind you that you are supported.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Let yourself recede.
And silently repeat after me.
I give myself permission to pause.
I listen to what my body needs.
I honor my energy.
I treat myself with patience and compassion.
I am deserving of care.
I am enough exactly as I am.
Allow those words to settle gently into your heart.
Ask yourself quietly,
What do I need today?
You do not have to search for an answer.
Simply listen.
Perhaps you need rest.
Perhaps you need movement,
Quiet,
Nourishment,
A loving boundary,
Or a little more gentleness with yourself.
Whatever arises,
Receive it without judgment.
Your needs are not an inconvenience.
Caring for yourself is not selfish.
It is how you restore your energy.
It is how you return to balance.
And it is how you continue to move through your life with love.
Take another deep nourishing breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice the space around you.
Gently move your fingers and your toes.
Perhaps roll your shoulders or stretch in any way that feels good.
Before opening your eyes,
Take one final moment to thank yourself for being here.
And carry this feeling with you as you move into the rest of your day.
Remember that you can return to yourself at any time.
One breath,
One pause,
One loving moment at a time.
Take one final breath in.
And exhale slowly.
When you are ready.
And only when you are ready.
Gently open your eyes.
May you move forward feeling restored,
Supported,
And deeply cared for.
Thank you for sharing this moment with me.
