Welcome to this guided meditation to release anxiety.
Begin by finding a comfortable and quiet place where you can relax without any distractions.
Sit or lie down in a position that feels natural to you and gently close your eyes.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs with fresh calming air and then slowly exhale through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or worry.
Do this a few more times,
Breathing in deeply and exhaling fully,
Allowing your body and mind to relax with each breath.
Now bring your attention to the sensation of your body against the surface beneath you.
Feel the support it provides,
Grounding you in this present moment.
Let go of any thoughts about the past or the future.
This is your time to be here,
Now.
Now take notice of any areas of tension or discomfort in your body.
Without judgment or expectation,
Simply observe these sensations.
Imagine your breath flowing into these areas,
Bringing with it a sense of relaxation and ease.
As you exhale,
Envision the tension leaving your body,
Melting away with each breath.
Now shift your focus to your thoughts.
Acknowledge any anxious or worrisome thoughts that may be present.
Instead of engaging with them,
Imagine them as clouds passing by in the vast sky of your mind.
Watch them come and go without attaching any meaning or significance to them.
Return your attention to your breath,
Using it as an anchor to keep you grounded in the present moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Visualize yourself in a peaceful and serene place.
It could be a beautiful beach,
A tranquil forest,
Or any location that brings you a sense of calm.
Picture the details of this place,
The colors,
The sounds,
The smells.
Allow yourself to fully immerse in its peaceful energy.
Now bring your awareness to your emotions.
Notice any feelings of anxiety or unease that may be present.
Instead of resisting or trying to change these emotions,
Simply observe them with kindness and compassion.
Now imagine wrapping these emotions in a warm and loving embrace,
Offering them acceptance and understanding.
As you do this,
Notice any shifts or changes in how these emotions feel within you.
Take a moment now to reaffirm your intention to let go of anxiety.
Repeat to yourself silently,
I am safe and supported.
I release all anxiety and embrace peace.
I choose to live in the present moment free from worry and fear.

Continue to breathe deeply and slowly,
Allowing yourself to rest in this state of relaxation and inner calm.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and gradually open your eyes.
