Getting settled in your space.
Feeling the surface beneath your body.
Focusing your hands where they feel comfortable.
This may be beside you,
On your belly,
Or perhaps resting on your heart's pace.
Can you imagine your body softening as you rest?
Allowing your shoulders to melt away from your ears.
Your toes to uncurl.
Your hands to rest with ease.
Without any expectation of what this moment needs to be,
Can you settle into simply the feeling of being where you are?
Perhaps the feeling of the sheets on your body.
Or the light breeze through the window.
Taking a nourishing deep inhale,
Filling your body,
Holding,
And releasing with a wholesome exhale.
Breathing just a little more.
And another inhale.
Nourishing your body.
And exhaling.
Sending your breath all the way down to your feet.
Taking another inhale.
I rest in this moment.
And a deep exhale.
I find ease.
Sending your breath as a wave.
Inhaling ease.
And with your exhale,
Letting go.
Sending your breath through your body.
Inch by inch,
Releasing tension.
Sending your thoughts release with each breath.
Resting.
Breathing.
You can imagine a soft light that glows through the center of your body.
Aligning you.
Full of calming warmth and safety.
Starting with this glow that carries you into ease.
Your breath like the ocean waves flowing in and out.
Releasing tension inch by inch.
I am at ease.
I let go.
