Good morning.
You know,
I was at a hot spring last week,
And the day was fabulous,
Warm and clear.
But as the hours passed and I sat in the comfort of the water,
I noticed a storm building in the distance.
It felt like it appeared out of nowhere.
I watched as the clouds gathered quickly,
Shifting from soft white to light gray,
And then to something more brooding,
Something more dramatic.
And as I watched,
I felt the similarity between the weather and our emotions.
How both can shift,
How both can surprise us,
And how both affect the field around them.
So I thought I'd send you a postcard with this little aha moment from Mother Nature.
You know,
Energy is contagious,
Love.
Yours,
Mine,
All of ours.
And just like the weather changes from sunshine to rain and back again,
We change too.
I know I do.
From joy,
To irritation,
To sadness,
To laughter,
And then back again to joy.
And sometimes,
I don't even notice when I'm the storm rolling in.
Have you ever felt that too?
When you think you're just having a day,
But everyone around you seems to react to it?
Our energy does not stay contained.
Not at all.
It ripples.
Mine ripples,
Yours ripples.
We are all walking weather systems bumping into one another.
So this morning,
Love,
While you're checking the forecast,
I'll be checking my internal weather right alongside you.
Not with judgment,
Just curiosity.
Am I sunny today?
Quiet and cloudy?
Or maybe I'm a mix.
Whatever the forecast,
Yours or mine,
Noticing it matters.
Because awareness gives us choice.
And choice is powerful.
We really can shift the weather inside of us one breath at a time.
So let's make it easy.
Let's make it simple.
Maybe we just soften our shoulders,
Or offer a kinder word to ourselves,
Or to someone else.
Maybe we pause before reacting,
Or choose one thought that's just a little brighter.
These small choices,
Love,
They can change an entire atmosphere inside of us and all around us.
So let's step into the day with intention.
Let's let our energy be something that lifts,
Warms,
And brightens.
Not perfectly,
Just honestly.
The world feels different when we choose to shine,
Even just a little.
And trust me,
Our light is just as contagious too.
Bye for now.
