This morning postcard is a reminder that we always have the ability and opportunity to tune into our breath. When life is difficult, when stress and anxiety prevail, we can stop, take a breath and ground ourselves at most any moment in time. Taking ourselves out of our mind and returning us to our bodies.

Good day love.

I wanted to drop you a quick postcard this morning.

I know you've been stressed lately.

I realize that things have been rough and you've not been in the best of places.

Been stuck in your head.

We really need to get rid of some of that stress.

We need to get you out of your head and back in your body.

Back to ground.

It's not healthy nor helpful love.

When was the last time you took a second to breathe?

No not like the breathing you're doing right now.

I mean actually sitting down with yourself.

No agenda.

No time constraint.

And just breathe.

Do you think we can give it a try?

Just for a minute I promise.

Great.

Alright hun.

Let's take a seat.

Get comfortable and close those eyes.

I'd like for you to feel the ground beneath you.

Let's see if you can connect to that earth.

Alright.

Now if it feels good and right to you.

I'd like you to breathe with me.

I'd like you to breathe in through the nose and then out through the mouth.

Just a simple breath.

Yeah.

Doesn't that feel good?

I'd like you to do this again but pay a little loving attention to that breath.

But slower.

In through the nose and then out through the mouth.

Here we go.

Take a deep inhale in.

All the way to the top.

And out through the mouth.

All the way out.

Can you feel the way things change within you when you breathe like that?

Can you feel the energy?

The calm?

Alright.

Let's do it again.

And this time when you breathe out I want you to breathe out some of that stress you've been holding onto.

All the way in.

And out.

Breathe that stress right out of your body.

Wonderful.

I want you to do this again but this time I want you to do it without my guidance.

I want you to be the guide.

Can we do that?

Great.

Don't worry.

I'll be right here if you need me.

Did you feel a tingle in your fingers?

Perhaps even in your toes?

This my love is your life force.

Your energy.

Your own personal electricity.

Let's take one more breath.

A cleansing breath.

Pull it in.

And release it out.

Alright love,

You can open your eyes whenever you're ready.

Do you feel any different?

Better?

I sure hope so.

Remember,

You can do this anytime.

You always have the power to tap into your breath at any given moment.

Have a beautiful rest of your day.

Until next time love.
