Good morning.
I am so glad that you were able to join me today.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable spot.
A place where you feel safe to unplug,
To open your mind and just let go for a short time.
Did you find it?
Good.
Now,
Gently close your eyes.
As you close your eyes,
I would like you to do a quick body scan.
First of all,
I want you to feel where you are.
Feel where your body meets the ground.
Moving upwards,
I want you to feel into all of the places in your body.
All of the nooks and crannies.
All of the corners.
I want you to find those places that are relaxed.
As well as those that are still a bit edgy.
Maybe they haven't quite woken up yet.
I'd like you to deepen your breath just slightly and breathe into those edgy spaces.
Breathe into them until they soften,
Until their edges become more of a blur.
Good.
Now I would like to awaken the energy that lives within you.
The energy that is you.
Let's begin with some conscious breathing.
Starting in your belly,
Begin to inhale.
Feeling the breath as it moves past your belly and into your lungs and chest.
Continue your inhale as the breath moves past the lungs,
Into your throat,
And all the way up to the top of your head.
Hold it there.
Hold.
Hold.
And with an open mouth and an audible sigh,
Release the breath.
Ah.
Nice.
I'd like to do this again,
But this time I want you to envision that we're moving the breath up and through each of the seven chakras.
Filling each of them with light and energy.
So you may envision this breath moving as light,
Moving as energy,
As the colors of the separate chakras,
Or all three.
That's up to you.
So starting with the root chakra.
As you inhale,
I would like you to pull the breath into the root chakra,
Filling it with light and energy.
Let's move from the sacral up through the solar plexus,
The heart,
The throat,
The third eye,
And finally the crown chakra.
Hold it here for just a moment.
And with an audible sigh,
Exhale through the mouth.
Ah.
All right,
Let's do this one more time,
But this time I'd like you to concentrate all of your breath,
Light and energy on the heart chakra.
As you begin to inhale,
I want you to infuse your heart chakra with your breath.
Fill this space with as much light and energy as you possibly can.
Hold this energy here for a moment and watch as this energy,
This light cannot be contained within its space.
It must expand.
Release your breath again with an open mouth.
Return your breath to its regular rate and rhythm.
So for the rest of our time,
I want to return our focus to the heart chakra.
Let's turn into our heart and think about love.
I want you to ask yourself a question.
What do I love?
As you ask and in turn answer this question,
I want you to imagine that each of your answers is a gold token.
I want you to place each token into this beautiful container that is your heart.
I want you to fill your heart with as many tokens as you can.
So many that they begin to spill over and out of your heart.
And as these tokens begin to trickle over the soft edges of your heart,
These tokens become a liquid.
A liquid molten gold that then infuses every cell of your body with love.
Not only love,
But gratitude for those things that you love.
Let's this molten gold soften all of your spaces so that your being is infused with the desire to share this love and gratitude with others.
Now I want you to place your hands underneath the cascade of tokens,
Scooping them as they turn into liquid and pour them outside of yourself.
Let this liquid flow past you and into the streets so that the streets are flowing with gold.
The gold made from your love.
As your love and gold fills the streets,
Let others touch this gold so that it awakens a love and gratitude within themselves.
It's contagious.
All that encounter it are helpless in its grasp.
And this flow continues.
They end up finding this love within themselves and then their gold flows and it goes on and on and on.
You are now a witness of how your thoughts can change your life and in turn have an effect on the lives of others.
I want you to take this thought and let it guide you throughout your day today.
Let it fill you.
Let it infuse you with happiness,
Joy,
Love and gratitude for yourself and for your life.
Let's bring ourselves back into the room to the space in which you inhabit.
I'd like to take a few cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
One more.
I want you to feel the sensations that surround you.
When you're ready,
I'd like you to gently open your eyes.
