Sometimes tuning into our senses can help us tune out the constant chatter and worry of the mind. We hope you'll give yourself a few moments of self-care today to calm and relax your nervous system, hit the reset button, and begin again.

Begin by simply noticing the body breathing.

Noticing the qualities of the breath.

And simply taking in what it feels like to breathe in and to breathe out.

Observing the sensation of smell.

Noticing some of the subtle smells you sense as you breathe.

Noticing the sensation of taste.

And as you bring your awareness to this area of the body,

Begin to relax the jaw.

Observing the sensation of light and color filtering through the eyelids.

And beginning to notice the sensation of touch.

Observing each and every place where your body is resting on a surface.

Feeling a sense of grounding.

Observing the temperature of the air on your skin.

Noticing the sensation of the air as it moves in and out of the nose.

And starting to notice the sounds you might be hearing.

Notice the gentle,

Subtle sound of your own breath.

Observe the steady rhythmic beating of your heart.

Observe the steady rhythmic beating of your heart.

And noticing this innate sense of calm and peace and relaxation.

Letting yourself soak all of that in.

Bathing in the subtle awareness of all of the senses.

Remembering that you can come back to these feelings anytime that you need to.
