Release anger with this 12-minute guided meditation. Feel anger melt away as you breathe in relief and breathe out your negative emotions. Anger is an emotion we need-it's life-force- but sometimes we have a build-up of anger due to trauma, unexpected situations, or relationship issues in our lives.

Welcome to the guided meditation for releasing anger.

Get into a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and out of the nose.

Take another deep breath in and out the nose.

We're going to go into deep breath.

We're going to go back to a time where you felt a very strong anger response.

Let your mind take you back to a time where you felt very angry,

Either at yourself or at another person.

We're going to release all that anger without aggression toward yourself or others.

As your mind wanders back to this experience,

Take note of what your body is telling you.

Is your jaw clenched?

Do you feel a tightness in your chest?

Are your hands balled into fists?

Let the energy of the anger emotion come to you.

Feel it as strongly as your body will allow.

It's okay to cry or to let the emotion out in any nonviolent way that your body is showing you.

See the emotion in your mind's eye.

What color is it?

If it were energy,

How much movement would it have?

As you're watching it,

Keep adding the anger that's inside of you to the picture in your mind's eye.

You're going to take all the anger that's inside of you and see it in front of you as energy.

Scan your body for all the anger to add.

Notice if there's any anger in or around your head.

Add it to the energy.

If there's any tightness in your chest,

Add that anger to the energy too.

Scan down your arms,

Belly,

And pelvic area.

Add any anger you find here.

Scan to your legs and feet.

Add any remaining anger.

Take a moment to feel through any additional anger and add it to the energetic field in your mind's eye.

As you're seeing the mass of energetic anger in front of you,

What color is it?

How is it moving now?

What color is it?

What color is it?

A bright purple orb comes down from the sky and starts cleaning up all the anger.

The anger sticks to it like a magnet.

As you see the anger being cleaned up,

You thank the anger for what it is showing you.

You tell the anger,

Thank you for being a mirror for me.

Thank you for showing me the deeper healing that needs to be done.

The purple orb has taken all the anger energy and is floating back up into the sky.

Here it will be cleaned and transmuted into calm energy.

You feel rejuvenated and peaceful.

You do not feel the heavy energetic frequency of anger in your body.

Each individual cell in your body feels relief from the energetic burden.

Scan your body once more to make sure each part feels light and free.

If there are any parts of your body you feel the anger may still be stuck in,

Please do this guided meditation again.
